I wish I didn't know what time it is. Then maybe I wouldn't know how much sleep I'm not getting.

    Word :biggrin1:

    Or more like... [yawn]

I used to think I was burning the candle at both ends... I only now realize the whole thing has been burning

And for those wondering... [does anybody really care?]

dannymawg replaces dannyhorse. While I've had the "horse hung" connotation thrown at me, and I might have very well have been the biggest they've been with, I'm not comfortable with it here. Others are more deserving.

mawg stands for middle aged white guy - much more in line with who I am

I rarely know what time it is, and care even less often. Being a self-employed insomniac allows for that, so there it is.

Welcome mawg- you are among friends.

Tend to get detached from the diurnal in the winter when it is mostly dark, and the summer when you can be outside puttering at 1 am. For some strange reason, hyperthyroid often makes it totally impossible to sleep between 11pm and 7 am. Sleep just fine, but not then.

    A long, long time ago,
in a playground far, far away,
    it was spoken:

    "Half past kiss my ass

    quarter to my balls."

LOL. I haven't heard that in so many years. It seemed very witty at the time.

For those among you of the action comic hero set, an oldie but sometimes very applicable:

Not only was MC Hammer a sad, sad part of the early 90s (or was it late 80s?) and my junior high career, he also inspired one of the most vile drinks I have ever had.

    MC Hammer

    1 part vodka
    1 part Lemon Ice Gatorade

    Drink as a shot

Unfortunately, like those pants that MC Hammer made so famous, I don't think you can get Gatorade Ice anymore.

Thanks Lex, for ths trip down memory lane.:smile:

Time for some Blood Sweat and Tears.

    or

Passerby: "Hey, wanna buy a watch?"
Cheech: "Oh wow, no thanks man, I'm not into time."
Passerby: "You sure ain't into time man, cuz this is nighttime, and nighttime ain't no time to be in this neighborhood."
