Does anyone believe it's okay for two straight guys to sleep in the same bed naked

I agree with some of the previous sentiments. Why are we so quick to condemn people and judge them? We wouldn't exactly know why the 2 men would be in bed together. I have had exchange trips when in youth, where I had to bunk in a room with several other naked guys. I think part of the original poster's thoughts revolve around masculine (security) and being secure in masculinity. Perhaps str8 men may feel a thret, but another naked man. . but. . hey. . I look at it this way,.. . Str8 men are usually too much baggage for me to want to engage in things with. . .So, they can Feel secure in knowing:

(look, I know you like girls . . and sex with a true str8 man would be so awkward that it would be like pulling teeth. . it would not be fun for him, or me.)

I just don't get alot of dudes today. .. its only a penis get over most men have one

Sorry, but neither of you are straight, which is the focus of this thread.

As far as my opinion on this thread, if both are indeed straight, then neither is going to purposely attempt to touch the other. So, it doesn't matter if they're naked or not.

Thinking back to the days of the TV show friends. Where I first heard the term going commando. Where Chandler was appalled that Joey was wearing his clothes with no underwear.. Granted there is nothing wrong with 2 men sleeping in the same bed nude, because all of the PJS and underwear of the world have been destroyed by aliens. :D

But back to TV, the reaction of Chandler to just knowing that something of his was rubbing against his best friends crotch is priceless and quite actual of how many males view other males crotch areas. This is however quite the opposite if dome be an attractive female

^^ This response is the most common sense reply I've seen on this thread.

Sure, lots of times. There's nothing wrong with mutually agreed nudity in bed. Many times friends thought nothing of going to a bedroom (theirs, mine, or an assigned one), taking off all our clothes and climbing into bed with each other. I usually sleep nude, so it's gotten to be a habit to strip to the buff before I sleep. Most of my friends sleep nude also.

If you're straight, and wake up snuggling with a straight bud, what's the big deal? It feels good to hug another human, and that act doesn't make you less straight or instantly gay.

I've slept with same-sex friends many times, for many reasons. It was always a good experience

The problem comes when people buy into the stupid idea that Nude = Sexual. That stupid idea is why people go to great trouble to hide their bodies from others in locker rooms, showers, and so on.

I'm not shy about my body at all. If I'm naked, you're welcome to look. Just don't expect that, because we saw each other naked, we're uncontrollably sexually attracted to each other. T'isnt so.

I'm totally confused by the question. What does being naked in bed have to do with sexual orientation?

Did you have sex? Were you attracted to him? If you said yes to either, then the question makes more sense. Guys are naked all the time with other guys. Women are naked all the time with other women.

Ever go to a concert? The performers are all changing and most of them are naked at various times.
Or is it the sleeping in the same bed part? People having been sharing beds forever.

So, really, what is the question?

Yes! But....what if the accidentally touched each other while sleeping. See, no one thought of that. They would then most likely wake up gay and not no why. However if they were wearing pajamas or underwear that millimeter of fabric would keep them safe.

LOL

You know, there was a gay porn plot all about touching someone or listening to a specific song in order to make them gay.

Pretty good sex scenes, but the plot line was hysterical.

I shared a bed with a straight guy on his long boat. It felt cosy with the water swirling outside on a winter's night. Slept like a log and awoke to find his feet on mine, 'to keep you warm', he said. But we were wearing boxers so no homo.

I've never had to sleep naked with anyone, and it's pretty rare when I've slept in the same bed with a friend of any gender. I prefer to sleep in the nude, but whilst in the company of others, I've always worn some clothing. So I then have to think what situation would I be sleeping with another person without my clothes on, and I can't come up with any, outside of being sexually intimate. That goes for sharing a bed with my male friends and female friends, when I've had a need to do so.

Is it OK to do so? Sure. But let's be honest here, unless you're sweltering in the Tropics and forced to share the same bed, if you're both naked, it's for homoerotic reasons. And there's nothing wrong with that, unless you refuse to recognize it in yourself.
