Thanks ! Now I know what the problem is! I have been suffering from this for years . I am like the tasmanian devil in the "morning' after getting an hour or less sleep at night.

Glad you have a chance to sleep that long. I start getting summoned early and believe me I am not nice about it.

Yes, although I sleep better/longer next to someone.

lolololol..........ive had this since my teens so was nice reading all that info - puts everything into perspective now as i just thought my body clock worked different from everyone else............leading a normal 9-5 sleep pattern defenitely makes me feel jetlagged.

i should say that ive had to force myself out of dsps sleep pattern and if anything that has made me lazy.........if i get proper sleep i can easily work 16 hours a day..........but when forcing myself in normal sleep pattern i can manage 11/12 but feel like ive less energy.

i should say ive never asked my doc about it and have always struggled with it.........when i was younger id often stay awake all night once a week or so to kick myself into going to bed earlier, etc

I sometimes go through periods when I can sleep perfectly well anytime except between midnight and 7am.

Is that why you often enter chat just when I am headed for bed?

Thankfully, I don't have DSPS; but I do have obstructive sleep apnea and narcolepsy. That's enough in the way of sleep disorders for me. :frown1:
