she is basically playing a role to get money. if you take her seriously you are just fueling the joke that you are a liberal wimp. my advice: when she comes on change the channel.

She's obviously a hypocrite for having a job.

Now, again, does anyone know what happened with her voter fraud debacle after she knowingly registered and voted in the wrong precinct?

WHAT???! She voted?! That makes her a double hypocrite! :biggrin1:

Funny how women like her and Phyllis Schlaffly never practice what they preach. I find it amusing.

OMG I can't believe the hate. What's so bad about a controversial pundit who stirs the political pot every now and then? Ann Coulter rocks.

Ann Coulter is a lonely, bigoted horsey middle-aged bitch. It's always interesting to see people defend her on message boards with a substantial gay membership.
I found this blog a couple of years ago...still think it's a scream.

The voting fraud made a very strange turn when it was found that some important FBI agent had called the Florida board of voting and **asked** them to drop the case and they subsequently did. I forget the guy's name but I believe the agent was the basis for the Jack Crawford character in "Silence Of The Lambs" (Clarice Starling's supervisor at the FBI) and is a well-known criminal profiler.
No shit. I figured it was something like that. The news about it just kinda evaporated. Oh, the strings that get pulled by bushco to cover up even the most blatant illegal activities...

Shame that you're given the opportunity to see the error in your thinking but do not take it.
The error being not hating her? If that's what you mean, I've already made it clear that I don't hate her. I generally try to not to hate people. As I've gotten older that's become easier to do. She's repugnant but fortunately for me I don't see her often; mainly because I don't watch TV very much and rarely watch a news channel.

As present, there's no one alive that I hate. Everyone on my hate-list -- previously mentioned -- is dead.

Yes, it is their right to say what they want. It is the right of Ann Coulter to say what she wants.

She is the most vile, putrified peice of filth that currently walks this earth, and I DO hate her.
Oh, this is so obviously not the case. How about the members of NAMBLA? Do you really hate them less than Coulter?

If so, your value system is entirely skewed and you should seek professional help.

Ann is a preacher of hatred, and as the bible says she will reap what she sows.

She needs Jesus.

Ann Coulter is not a preacher of hatred. About the closest I ever heard her get to outright hatred was in the days following 9/11 when she wrote, "we should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

Keep in mind that, after the bombing of a nightclub in Bali by al Qaeda, one of the leading Muslim leaders in the region said that, to avoid repeats, we "should convert to Islam". Leaders of al Qaeda have stated, more than once, that they will not be satisfied until an Islamic flag flies over the White House and the Caliphate is restored. We are in a multi-generational fight for our way of life. It is not widely recognized as such, but it has been going on since the 1950s (even discounting Arab reaction to the formation of Israel, it at least started in Lebanon).

Coulter is, however, a skillful user of ridicule. The Edwards bumper sticker comment was just that (and richly deserved, for the reason I explained in an earlier post).

Last I've seen is that they are still investigating, which is newsworthy on its own self. I mean, really, when was the last time a Democrat was interested in rooting out voter fraud?

In Los Angeles, an investigation into fraudulent voter registration (when they had a Republican mayor) found that 95-98% of fraudulent volters were registered as Democrats (I don't know the exact number because the CBS -owned news outlet didn't release the numbers, but I saw them flip through the printout of the collected results and page after page of all- or almost-all Democrats, with a smattering of Republican, Independent and other parties here and there).

What does party affiliation have to do with anything? I suppose I'm glad you are posting again :)cool: ) but why is it that whenever you respond to one of my posts, you begin the democrat-bashing? You make it sound as if I'm a registered democrat.

I suppose that the comments you make which inspire me the most are the ones that sound like Republican-bashing. I'm not bashing you. I'm bashing the public office holder in charge of the investigation (who is a Democrat) because I doubt that political motivations are absent from his actions.

Such as saying she committed voter fraud? When I say she committed voter fraud, you claim it sounds like I'm republican-bashing?

"Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections records show Coulter voted last week in Palm Beach's council election. Problem is: She cast her ballot in a precinct 4 miles north of the precinct where she owns a home -- and that could be a big no-no....

She wrote down an Indian Road address instead of [her correct address] on her voter's registration application. And she signed to certify the information as true.... Florida statutes make it a third-degree felony to vote knowingly in the wrong precinct. Lying on a voter's registration can cost up to $5,000 and five years behind bars."

The election board tried 4 times to contact her and/or her attorney for verification. She refused. Did she knowingly falsify information and vote in the wrong precinct, or is she so stupid that she doesn't even know her own home address?

She rants about the corrupt liberals, then has the nerve to pull stunts like this.

No, my friend, you are the one who leaps into the bashing. I point out corruption where I see it, and I don't really give a flying fuck about political parties - democrats OR republicans. It's just that whenever I point one out, you seem to take offense, call me a republican-basher, and go off on a democrat-bashing rant. Guess what? Your little ploy doesn't work, because I'm only slightly less disgusted by the dems than by the repubs.

I don't know all the facts. I do know that she had recently bought a house in the area. Who knows? She may have been in escrow to buy the house at the other location when she registered and, when the election happened, considered it more important to vote than to not vote. How did she know where to go to vote? My precinct location has changed 5 times in the last 10 years while my residence has remained the same and I never know where it is until I get my ballot explanation in the mail.

It's not a ploy, just a gut reaction. I am not so eager to defend Democrats (they have enough apologists), but there are so many lies told about Republicans that I get a bit sensitive, especially when the suspected offense is so minor compared to abuses on the other side.

As I said, I do not know all the facts (especially as regards mitigating factors) and am content to wait until it plays out, but I do know that many attacks on Republicans have been politically motivated (see Karl Rove, Trent Lott, Tom DeLay, etc.) with little or no evidence to back the charges up.

Please tell me you are kidding. Little or no evidence on Tom DeLay? There's plenty of evidence that he's slime, absolutely corrput. Not a shred of integrity in the man's body.

Don't get me wrong, though, I'm equal-opportunity. It's isn't just the repubs I rant about. William Jefferson and his cold cash bribe payments have not escaped my attention, either.

But that's a whole other story. As for Coulter giving false information on her voter registration, then intentionally voting in the wrong precinct, my point isn't that it's the most horrible crime ever committed. It's a felony (and for good reason) but it's not the most egregious crime ever. My point is that she spews her venom villifying anyone 0.5 degrees to the left of reactionary, claims all liberals are evil corrupt lying bags of shit. She therefore needs to hold herself to a higher standard, or shut the fuck up.
