I'm only 29 and i have ED so any-one that thinks ED is an old mans condition is severely wrong. This is true Pieter. When I was in China, I was approached by dozens of students who wanted to practice their Chinese-English (Chinglish) on me. They said their instructors were Chinese, and that they rarely had the opportunity to improve their pronunciation with native-speakers. I think you'll find that all the men over 40 who have fathered children did not 'take pills for getting a hardon' - Those pills are relatively recent and yet men in their 40s, 50s, 60, 70s and beyond have been fathering children for millennia.

You've had an overwhelming response here that men over 40 do get natural erections both intentionally and unintentionally and enjoy using them. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is more common in older men, but not exclusive to older men. ED is also not an inevitable part of being over 40. Not by a long shot (no pun intended).
