I don't quite understand why you want to feel sad about it. He sells glamorous sexual stuff (softcore porn books)...just like Playgirl and other porn-ish mags did after photoshop becomes a common tool to edit photos...he and other pornographer/art/"fashion" photographers did and do edit their stuff to make the main focus of their "art" appear much more appealing towards potential clients. At least he is not obsessed to edit the private parts of his models till they look nonsensical to normal eyesight and mind like say Rick Day...
