Does racist porn bug anyone else?

the issue isn't just the companies though. This encompasses free stuff as well. On most sites 'interracial' is a category. People are categorized by race. It doesn't matter if the site is making money or not. It comes down to the separation of people based off of race/color. If you were to eliminate those labels, then you'd find the issue to be far far far far less prominent.

By the very nature of categorizing you are going to open the doors for some degree of racism. I hope this makes more sense. Money isn't the biggest issue. The issue is categorizing people/not categorizing. By this I mean. There is no category for white. Why? well here in the US most people are White. Thus those who are not, are different. They are not regular people. They are black people, asian peope, hispanic people, etc. You combine this with the pre-existing racism and it's a little circle jerk.

So take money totally out of the equation and you'll see the problem is still there.

Oh i agree, the problem would still be there without a doubt but how exactly could the money be taken out of it? Cause we're talking billions of dollars here and i'm not even talking about globally. Pornhub makes potentially (and this is from a quick internet search so....) $748,350 a day. $ 22,450,500 a month. People would have better luck with campaign finance reform. Which means that not only are the companies reinforcing those categories but people are too. Cause nothing was said yet about ad revenue. Annnnd ya don't even have to click those.

I get what you're saying and i agree but it's a whole different ball game when direct money is included. Long story short...

Porn stereotypes/bigotry/sexism/whatever = Profit. And not just a profit. Extremely fast and relatively easy profit (not for actors and actresses though they usually either get screwed within a year or find a way not to ((by way of investing or something)).). And thats ultimately why it would be much much more difficult to modify then many other stuffs. I mean part of it is because people just don't care along with many other issues but mainly the money would have to be modified first. Which i'm guessing is why at a certain point even McDonalds started to create ads directed exclusively to certain groups of people...cause others stopped eating there.

Yes it is a self inflicted, cyclical thing for sure. Market forces are pretty tough to get around. I just wondered how much it bothers others. I don't care so much about the portrayal on screen, because, (pay attention here) PORN IS NOT REAL, but the real world reflection of the inequality is sad.
