Does regular use of Viagra cause face wrinkles

sweetfella: I started using Viagra regularly and noticed that I started getting creases under my eyes in what they call the "tear troughs". This totally freaked me out because I have to admit I am a little vain. I wracked my brain trying to figure out what would cause this. I did some research and several places made the connection to medications. I stopped taking the Viagra immediatly.

I don't know if it is just because I am looking harder now, but I have noticed A LOT of guys (usually young hot ones) that have this same tear trough creases. Has anyone else noticed this?

sweetfella: It is not really wrinkles, but creases under your eyes like you smoke A LOT or you haven't slept for a while.

I don't mind wrinkles at all, but I don't whan to look like an old worn out, smoking drug addict.

8inchy: I have noticed the same thing. When taking it the area under my eyes gets very hot and flushed. It has changed something in that part of my face.

It's only the Viagra in an indirect way.

Directly, the wrinkles are caused by a lack of sleep from all that sexual activity.

I understand that Preparation H works wonders on wrinkles... or is that puckers?

Both. Preparation H under the eyes is it's best use.

Viagra works by increasing blood flow (perfusion). This helps the penis to engorge, but also does the same thing to other areas of the body. It is not uncommon for people to get a flushed face, or reddening of parts ot the face or the ears, as a result of this action. This is also the cause of the stuffy nose that sometimes accompanies Viagra use- the extra ablood makes the sinus tissue swell.

However, Viagra hasn't "changed" anything about you. The effect is simply the action of the drug while it is still in your system. All of this is described in the patient and physician information package provided by Pfizer, which it seems hardly any one reads.

8inchy: perhaps I had quite a run with using it but it is not a lack of sleep. It is indeed part of the infusuin of blood into other areas of the body. However it has altered a small area around my eyes. There are small, small red mini contusions or areas that are now pigmented more deeply. It has remained weeks after, therefor is not just the effect of the drug whioe in the body.
I do not any response to this or anyone attempting to debase my claim. I'm just trying to let the initial person know that it is a drug and can affect other areas of the body.

sweetfella: thanks for the response

I am glad, I guess to hear that someone else is having the same issues. I thought I was just going a little crazy.

I noticed the flushed face also but never thought much about it.
