I was reading some threads on another website, human sexuality forum on Topix.com. One of the threads was 'Straight Men Who Enjoying Seeing Large Cocks'

I think there's tons of guys who like to look at big dicks. But if you care to put your .02 cents in, when you see a big friggin' dick what does it do for you?

    1. Nothing, totally limp. You're a male-lesbian at heart, tacos all the way. :biggrin1:
    2. Might give you a semi, or you just admire it, maybe some degree of envy.
    3. Instant wood, instant lust, you want it, you gotta have it, you need to put it to good use.

Probably no matter whether you're 1, 2 or 3, you do like to look at a big cock. It's totally male and totally masculine. and sometimes you might not wanna take your eyes off it?

But something else I didn't realize from reading in the thread and some other places, gay porn is gaining a lot more hits and is very popular, like on Xtube and other sites, to the point that the porn industry is taking notice. Male interest in men. Even str8 guys watch gay porn. And I think we do have members here on LPSG that work in the industry and could likely say that gay porn pays better that str8 porn. Being gay isn't about the stereo type of back in the day where homosexuals were thought of as limp wristed feminine dudes. Being gay was seen as that. But that was the stereo-type. Men, every day joe types, masculine men are interested in other guys. The male body is awesome, whether guns, pecs, abs, glutes and of course 'the ultimate package'. Things are changing and the taboo and stigma of guys having sex together and enjoying it is decreasing and has greater acceptance all the time as more and more guys discover and become open to more experiences. discovering the pleasure. Many of you reading this, well.... I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. Maybe we shouldn't put labels on ourselves as men, such as heterosexual or homosexual. Drop the adjective prefix, and just use the term 'sexual' and drop orientation terminology too. We are just basically sexually oriented, no label or division. If you're a sexual male there's no label, no stigma or no category you need to be expected to fit into. you're just generically sexual male for whatever. and if the next guy and the next guy after that is just described as simply sexual male we're all the same, and it's ok. no one is any less or more than the other as a male. You're just a dude with a sexual nature.

Anyways, something else occurs to me. Again, way back in the day before TV. things were different. I think, and I'm sure much has been written of how TV has changed our culture along with the sexual revolution of the 60's, and even back in the 1980's with the birth of MTV that changed the culture too. But, don't you think that porn is changing our culture as well? I mean, like consider how much porn we consume and put in our heads. So, if you agree that the same way TV altered the course or had an impact, then.... the same way with porn. We're all watching it, looking at it, getting turned on by it. It's an 'as seen on TV' kinda thing we want. It's hot, and maybe if you consider, what was once thought of as deviant or abby-normal is everyday to us. Look at the what porn used to be in the 1940's during WWII and into the 1950's. Have you ever seen some of the archive stuff? We'd barely even consider that stuff to be soft porn let alone porn at all, by our standards now.

So, maybe we're turning on to more and more stuff all the time by what we see on the internet and what we consume in both visual and audio form. It's changing our attitudes and our desires and appetites.

And men, we getting off by seeing guys having hot sex. And guys, not everywhere, but many are hotter than they ever were before, working out getting in shape. If you compare what we see as the ideal male body, and that's what we want for ourself, the ideal, perfect male body. And as you get your body into shape, all the while you're noticing other dudes who are totally sick (hot) and you're curious what it would be like to play around with. Dick admiration.

Women have gone through this body transformation thing too with the media and fashion. The skinny tiny little perfect figure. Women were all out to be the perfect shape, size and look. Some of that is changing, but for us men, we are the visual creatures and we might just have a greater desire in having the hottest most perfect bodies because we're visual and that's what we want and desire in a sex partner.

All of this stuff, I guess just occurs to me, I am no expert, it's just my thoughts. But anyways, If you want, chime in your thoughts if you wanna discuss it.

I think straight guys will always be straight. I think there is a greater acceptance of bisexuality and so more guys who are curious who in the past would have just ignored it are now able to be a bit more adventurous. And that's healthy. And I think the fact that the number of guys who work out and are in top physical shape seems to be getting all the higher, perhaps men will be able to look at other guys and say "He's hot!" the way a woman could about another woman, without it being gay or there being any sexual connotation. I think most of what guys think about other men is mostly envy anyway (if you aren't interested in sucking the big dick then you probably are just wishing you had one like it), if there's no sexual interest then it's pure aesthetism (which is normal, who wants to look at something ugly when you can look at something pleasing to the eye).

But overall it's a good article. I think much of what you've written are observable social trends and I say it's a good thing! More sexual liberation is still to come.

PS Straight guys, lube up a finger and try to find your prostate next time you're masturbating. Then you'll get what the fuss is all about.
