So for the past few months, I noticed that my dick has become a darker color than the rest of my body. It used to be the same, but until recently it has changed in appearance.

It is pretty unlikely that jacking off would contribute to the pigmentation of your dick changing. If it is changing, it's likely something that would be happening whether you were wanking or not. People's bodies do change, after all.

Try using coconut oil. That should help with the chafing and an added bonus is that it doesn't stain clothing or sheets.

I'll add: If men's dicks changed/darkened by masturbating, the religious twits - who are dead set against "self-abuse" and LOVE to terrorize kids with dire consequences - would have jumped on that as an undeniable sign that the kid with a dark dick must be a veritable jerking demon. Worried mothers the world over would have dragged their shamed boys to the doctor with this "proof" they had been masturbating.

There are already TONS of other insane "effects" stuck onto masturbating, from insanity to hairy palms to stunted growth, none of which are true. "Jacking off will darken your penis" is not a widespread actual effect people could pin on it, otherwise we'd know about it very well.

But we don't so that says this colour change is not a result of jacking.

Jacking off with no lube might be a problem, but also cockrings that are not big enough or worn for extended periods of time could do that, or if you pumped your cock up with a peter pump.

The change in texture sounds like your skin drying out and could just do with some TLC and a moisturising cream, but make sure you use a lot because as well as treating your favourite organ you're likely to start another wanking session!
