In the production I saw Oberon was played by David Walker who did a beautiful job and was a treat to see. When you have flowing locks of blonde hair and a tight muscular body all you need to command the stage is tights, a cape and a little glitter . And that unearthly voice!

The casting is good but the women need some thought. Naughty looks like Hermia (in my minds eye) and Jana is just too...ah.... special to play a silly girl like Helena. Maybe a tall guy in drag?

I would volunteer as one of the rustics but I have no comic timing.

As an actress, among other things, I have the ability to play either role convincingly.
As you yourself can attest, you had already given that role to Jana. So I would have cheerfully gone on with the role of Helena. But it was quite heartwarming to know that I was not automatically thought of as a "Helena" .So I say yes please to Hermia. Of course now you are going to have to deal with the challenge of casting me as Hermia and Nixxi as Lysander! A fiery love affair to say the least! Could Hermia be unlucky in love after all? Stay tuned to see. LOL! I couldnt resist it!

Honestly, my accent is not that pronounced, and when I sing in English, it's not evident at all.

Okay, Romey ... you are one of the few here who have heard my voice. You must admit that it&#39;s not so obnoxiously Cuban as, say, Ricky Ricardo&#39;s. Jeff (txquis) and Dante(sco) have both remarked on occasion that sometimes my accent is very slight. You and I spoke late at night; it&#39;s thicker then (...and so is my accent&#33; ).

No not that obnoxious no ... and really I don&#39;t know if (had I not allready known your heratage) that I would have been able to guess cuban exactly ... but definitly some spanish speaking area.
