So I was listening to the radio and the radio host, who was a woman was asking why men jerk off. She acted as if a man jerking off means that his girlfriend is not good enough in bed or isnt giving enough sex, or some other thing the woman is doing wrong to cause the man to jerk off.

She was asking men to call in and tell her why, and she just couldn't understand any of the reasons the men gave. Granted, all the reasons didn't make much sense. I guess its because you can't explain it.

Are you threatened by your bf/husband jerking off?

I wanted to call the lady and say "lady, just stfu and accept it. Its a fact of life, like the ocean is blue and bannanas are yellow. Don't question it, theres not fault on the womans part, its not better than sex, or sex with you. We just love to jerk off.

I also wanted to call and say "do you masturbate yourself?" I don't think she did, and I think if she did, maybe she would have a better understanding?

What do you think?

I have mixed feelings. Usually I like it; I have watched him do it and he doesn't use it to ejaculate, just to get big and hard. That fucking excites me! However, whenever I get the sense that he isn't thinking about me... that bothers me. He says that if there is another woman in the fantasy, she always "servicing" me and not him. I tend to believe him because he definitely greatly enjoys watching other women worship me:smile:

it's actually spelled "bananas" and not "bannanas." i know, i am a grammar nazi.

masturbating is healthy and everyone does it. i'm not gonna deprive my BF from wanking his cock when i'm not around. if i can't take care of him he's gotta take matters into his own hands, literally! :biggrin1:

No, I don't have a problem with my man jerking off and he doesn't have a problem with me masturbating either.

I think where the line cross is when a man masturbates more and gives less attention to his partner. Sort of like this movie I was watching-the wife wanted sex, but the husband rarely gave her the time of day. She thought he had a low sex drive, then she catches him masturbating. Then she figured she must have been the problem. That is when the feeling of rejection sets in.

Actually I think this was an episode of "Sex and the City".

Hardly. No self-respecting grammar Nazi would so cavalierly disregard the rules of capitalization. At best, you're a sheriff's deputy.

To the OP's premise, it's just a fact. Men with healthy sex drives jerk off. It has nothing to do with the quality or quantity of sex we're getting from our partners...we could be having daily sex with underwear models, and we'd still jerk off.

The woman who called into the radio host is voicing her own personal insecurities...particularly one that runs throughout the majority of our society where people live under the delusion that they should be the end-all be-all of another human being's sexuality. It's just ridiculous.

I'm totally in love with myself, and even I don't harbor the idiotic belief that my wife doesn't masturbate...and fantasize about people other than me when she does.

Futhermore, masturbation is an act of sexual self-indulgence. There's no expectation to perform or care about how another person is reacting, no frustration in their technique being off by just one second of angle...just quality time with the lover who knows you best.

QFT!

No problem at all when my man masturbates when I'm not around or when I'm next to him watching him. He doesn't mind me doing it as well. It does become a problem when you masturbate instead of having sex with your partner.

It was not a woman calling a radio host. It was the radio host herself who brought up the whole thing. That was that topic of the night, and the next night! Two days of her asking men to call in and explain why they jerk off while in a relationship.

I masturbate whenever a partner's not available, so I would only have a problem with it if he was doing himself instead of me.

I have a few friends that do not like their men to masturbate when in a relationship.
One in particular considers masturbation cheating! Her live-in boyfriend hides his porn and masturbates in the bathroom like a teenager, haha! Sadly, much like her previous BFs, he'll leave once he realizes her hotness doesn't override her super Christy, puritanical insanity.

Personally, I masturbate (daily) and, as long as I can still get fucked, encourage my man to masturbate to his heart's content. :yup:

Its a bit of a double standard. Women openly talk about buying and using vibes. Which i think is great, and i'm sure most men think is great too, because it shows a sexually confident woman. However most women i know, or have gone out with get upset about the man having a wank. The "normal" reason is due to the woman not thinking that she is enough for the fella. The other is that the bloke slopes off to do it on his own and the woman doesn't like the secrecy. But its programmed into men to have a wank in private because of living arrangements when they were teenagers. Or that my opinion/experience

My wife doesn't have a problem with me jerking off and I don't have a problem with her masturbating either. She likes watching and actively encourages it during her period. She enjoys me shooting my load and has been know to lick me dry afterwards!

I love watching a man masturbate. I also want honesty when they tell me what or who they were fantasizing about. It's only a fantasy for god's sake. If he was thinking of Jenna Jameson, I would have him jack off in front of me, tell him to close his eyes and take off on that fantasy for him. I would elaborate and just go with it. I would get more and more excited as I saw him get harder and harder.

I have to agree if he was jerking it instead of fucking me, I'd wonder. But only if it was a habit. Sometimes you just want to get off quickly, a thought's been rattling around in your head all day making you horny. There's nothing wrong with masturbating to that, even if your partner is in the next room. If the choice was more often than not, masturbating instead of intimacy with your partner, red flags would be waving.

Hazel Darling!
Could you ask your wife if she like to trade husbands for a little while?
I find that in most matters you are so reasonble.
I'd give a whole lot of something for a teeny bit
of reasonableness!
*sigh*
As to the OP's premise; I don't know what the big deal is about a man jerking off. Meh big whoop!
What do I care if you want to jerk off?
Please do!
I don't always want to fuck and if that makes you happy, well I'm all for making my husband happy!
Or HazelGod.
