Well, I'm not happy. I liked him and loved his show. It's funny too 'cause I always hated him and said I'd never watch his show until this one day when I was with my brother and he forced (not really) me to watch it. I instantly liked it. His born-again stuff was sometimes tedious but you knew he was chasing after these people because he genuinely wanted to change their lives for the better. Nothing can excuse what he said, but he has apologized and I think that should've counted for something.
No it shouldn't have counted for anything. He said what he said because that's how he really feels. I have no doubt that there was a calling campaign to have his show removed. We as a society have to 'help' him change his life for the better by showing him that his thinking is unacceptable. The color of people's skin is meaningless. If he wants to hate people, fine, but do it for reasons they can control. Like thieves, or rapists, or Republicans.
