many south american economist support the idea that dolar dont exist
compare $ with an star that still bright but she dont exist, only her light remain on journey.
the economist question is when such light will over or same thing when the true will come out

Printed currency. You can print a dollar faster than it takes an apple to grow. Think about it. You can eat a dollar but it won't keep you alive. You will starve to death before the apple grows.

I'm really goin to have to quote my quotes :)

Once upon a time everyone understood it :) Basically, it means currency was invented by people who have nothing of real value to sustain life or to barter for survival. Lessons are usually learned every generation or two.

The dollar is a fiction the American financial world (and several others) functions on. Does the dollar exist? Only if your government can convince your countries banks to believe it does.

It use to be that the dollar was a promissory note representing the amount of gold/silver/gem stones a US bank was holding for a deopsitor. You could turn in a dollar/dollars to a bank and get some type of precious material back. Now the dollar is worth what ever a computer screen tells you it's worth and the only way you can get precious materials back for them is at a jeweler. The dollar no longer represents anything other than blind faith and wishful thinking. It's just paper.

the power and army force is what keep dollar value world wide
while millions of dolars are legaly printed
say legaly due the power and militar supremacy, arent false or fake.
in other hand when we say $ dont exist and compare it with heaven star
it would mean that the light single is nothing if star dont exist
and in the economic world the star is same as the gold or support behind in this case, each dollar
a sample ,taking our own star the sun
if it desapear all will be normal on the earth during 8 minutes, later the caos.
with the dollar anybody still know colapse or caos time.
but the true is it dont exist, is only matter of wait
for the present talking of star dont exist, its possible see the light even it can heat
and with dollar still you can buy merchandise, make bussines ect

Even gold is a questionable currency. It is very much similar to the dollar. Can I do something useful with the gold? No, I can just trade it for other goods. If I were wealthy I might use gold to show as status, but as an individual you can't really do much with gold.

Currency was invented so that we had a universal object of trade. Before if you wanted something, you had to trade for it. This is very difficult. If you have a cow and want something else, like food, you had to find somebody that had food that also wanted your cow. Trading like that is just awful and highly inefficient, usually one person gets a much better deal than the other person.

The use of gold as a currency is just as arbitrary as a fiat currency, doncha know? If we hadn't selected gold as a currency item, it would be just another precious metal commodity, albeit worth far less. Libertarians think that gold has some sort of natural currency property, but its value is just as contrived as fiat currency.
