Oooh. A link. Aren't you a teeny bit interested in whether she may have had abortions and why? You are so interested in Donald's tax history even though it is likely no different to anyone with money in the U.S. Yet you are happy with the Clintons declaring an income over $10 million a year. They feel for you bro.

I'm sorry for you but no. An abortion is a very private, intimate thing that has nothing to do with the american people or becoming the president of the united states. The only people who care about that are people who are against it and planned parenthood. Which i might add are the same types of people who attack women's rights to their own body while giving men leeway to do whatever they want with theirs.

And why bro talk only about his taxes? Theres a whole host of things we can talk about. Why are you attempting to control this back and forth? Gearing it to very specific subjects you feel work in your favor? And then of course you follow it up with an insult.

You flatter your memory and comprehension skills.

Really when have i insulted you? Thats right i haven't. All of this is sounded very very familiar. Same style. Same tactics. Same use of insults. You remind me of someone but i can't put my finger on it. Hmm who could that be? Someone who would rather ad hominem clinton rather than talk about issues that are actually important. Someone who believes in stop and fisk. Thinks everyone has avoided paying taxes. Has connections to businesses in other countries. Damnit. I can't figure it out. Someone who weirdly agrees with religion only when it benefits himself. Someone who has a rather outdated view of women in general. Dangit. I can't for the life of me guess who that reminds me of. Oh someone who also wants to go after all muslim people. And someone who prides themselve on being a good businessman.

Help me out drifterwood. Who am i talking about? Does all those things remind you of someone? I mean i have yet to insult you but you have right out of the gate. And you have constantly brought hillary clintons private life into focus as if it's on par with avoiding taxes. So drifterwood, who does that sound like to you? Help me out here. :D

Personal attacks, rather than logical argument, are your stock in trade
1.) 'Have you been living under a rock?'

Not an insult

2.) 'your delusions of grandeur'

Not an insult

3.) 'you are as dumb as a box of rocks'

More like a colorful description

4.) 'I don't even know how you can dress yourself in the morning'

Genuine bewilderment

5.) 'You are a clown and a poor one who isn't funny or entertaining'

Another colorful description

And you know what else?!?!? They were all fucking G rated compared to your filthy and disgusting insults and tirade (that had to be deleted because it was so over the top nasty and mean spirited).

Grow the Fuck up

and with that, wearisome sarcasm:
1.) I'm supposed to commission double blind studies and pay for expensive surveys
2.) Oh right... gay man cannot hate themselves... they have magical fucking immunity from "self hatred"

Sarcasm isn't against the rules of any website known to man... when you type degrading and sadistic personal attacks aginst another member and that member destroys you with G rated sarcasm?

You got pwned.

Argument from personal experience is not logically valid, unless your premise is agreed upon by all, and I don't agree with the absurd assertions made in your opening post.

Nobody on this site gives two shits as to what you agree about or don't agree about.

I've known plenty of gay men, some of whom are closeted--some who grew up in and still live in the South--who do not engage in 'gay self-hatred'--but that doesn't make a difference since it's my own experience.

Many homosexual people conceal their sexual orientation out of fear that they may be ridiculed, abused, or persecuted by others. While homosexuality is a crime in some countries, homosexual self-hatred is common even in countries with a relatively high level of tolerance for homosexuality. Even a homosexual individual raised in an environment of tolerance might perceive his or her own sexual feelings as immoral, unhealthy, or shameful.

Some argue that latent homosexual tendencies, when repressed, often lead to homophobic actions. A self-hating homosexual may actively support efforts to limit the civil rights of homosexuals, openly criticize homosexuality, or openly engage in homophobic behavior. Famous examples include Roy Cohn, and the Mayor of Spokane, Washington Jim West. The groundbreaking 1970 movie The Boys in the Band depicted gay characters engaged in and reacting to self-hatred. Some gays merely "hate" others who embody homophobic stereotypes. They may even "wish" for themselves to be straight, or become deeply depressed.

If you did present, as you say, 'a hypothesis', it isn't one you could validate with evidence, but that doesn't matter to you

Of course it matters to me, I haven't been living under a rock like you, so I actually follow and keep up with science. The University of Rochester would like you to realize that:

"Homophobia is more pronounced in individuals with an unacknowledged attraction to the same sex and who grew up with authoritarian parents who forbade such desires, a series of psychology studies demonstrates.

Individuals who identify as straight but in psychological tests show a strong attraction to the same sex may be threatened by gays and lesbians because homosexuals remind them of similar tendencies within themselves," explains Netta Weinstein, a lecturer at the University of Essex and the study's lead author.

"In many cases these are people who are at war with themselves and they are turning this internal conflict outward," adds co-author Richard Ryan, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester who helped direct the researc
h." - that internal conflict is that cognitive dissonance I was discussing earlier.

and here is an admission from a former closeted gay man of how he was only attracted to beauty queens when he was "straight"

The creator of the Barbie doll was a closeted gay man himself... she is the image of what a closeted gay man thinks to be an attractive female.

I actually haven't asked for evidence for the claim that homophobia is connected to "latent homosexuality" in that comment (although it is a bullshit claim as well). I asked for evidence for the claim that "Neo-Nazis are usually closeted homosexuals".

DUDE!!!!!!!! The Nazis were the world's most virulent homophobes!!!! Homophobia is most definitely related to closeted homosexuality... your shock and indignation that something like that would be the reality seems ridiculous.

When white people want to imply that black people aren't targeted unfarly by whites because of racism, they bring up black-on-black violence, and they can even do so in a gentle, caring tone as they mumble about "guetto culture". When straight people want to imply that LGBT people aren't targeted unfarily by straight people because of homophobia, they don't even need to bring up actual gay people to mention gay-on-gay violence. Any anti-gay straight person can be posthumously imagined as having "latent homosexuality", and straight folk will then show their caring concern for us by demonstrating their "understanding" of internalized homophobia (while actually not understanding a single bit of the origins of homophobia in their own society). You, straight person, can quote Scott fucking Lively and still be completely oblivious that you are a vital part of societal homophobia as every straight person is. Not gay people.
"Homophobes are secretly gay" presents a ahistorical explanation to a social phenomenon.

Here’s What Mike Pence Said on LGBT Issues Over the Years
  1. He said gay couples signaled ‘societal collapse’
  2. He opposed a law that would prohibit discrimination against LGBT people in the workplace
  3. He opposed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell
  4. He rejected the Obama administration directive on transgender bathrooms

Yeah i'm thinking you guys are looking at the wrong guy for this. :p Trump doesn't strike me as being religous in any way shape or form. And i would venture a guess at him doing what he's doing because he thinks it'll net him more votes. Being against the lbgt community that is. Mike pence on the other hand seems like the type to be doing this simply to assure that he has all the men to himself which i'm still guessing would cover up any "vacations" he's had. I mean i'm kind of half joking here but still half serious too.

Actually I quoted a website that quoted Scott Lively...NOWHERE did I EVER quote Scott Lively. I just linked to a web article about the Pink Swastika.

And I'll be completely honest and had not realized that there is a serious anti-gay movement out there that has been working overtime to link Nazis and homosexuality together... their goal being 100% the denigration and vilification of gays.

So, I'm totally sympathetic to your anger that I posted that link. I really had no idea of the true meaning behind the article. The most virulently homophobic people I have met in my life have shown serious signs of latent homosexuality and the self hate and loathing that goes along with it.

Your love for Hillary is charming. If you don't think the American people would be interested in her abortion history, let alone the machinations of the Foundation, the emails, the land deals and probably many other things that I don't know about, then fine. But the contest has two sides and I don't have a problem with the good and not so good of each side to be aired in Public. That is how democratic choices are made. Some people on this board would have us only discuss the good of one and the bad of the other, but their bullying and aggressive manner doesn't wash on many of us. Please remember that I am not partisan, it just upsets me when some people try to control content.

Levi101, @levi101, a gay man, is going to vote for this guy. Go figure...a party some of whose candidates consort with religious leaders who advocate execution of homosexuals.

Pence would be extremely popular at truck stops and rest areas.

Seriously... Pence scares me much more than Trump. I'm actually voting for Hillary to prevent a Pence presidency.

Pence does seem to have a wife that a straight man would marry... cuuuute daughters though.

I don't know why I didn't do it months ago, but, now I have BimboInNaplesFl on "Ignore".

How many different forms of victim blaming can I discover from straight people? And you keep doing it while asking for a "benefit of doubt"? Let's just move on...
I don't know where did you took the idea that I was calling you religious, right winger, gay or a nazi. You shown every sign and symptom of clueless homophobic straight person syndrome, and that's what I'm saying you are. I have never met a homophobic person who admited to be homophobic, so I'll just move the subject again to what can actually be productive.
I want to elaborate on what I meant by "ahistorical explanation to a social phenomenon". Homophobia does not come from a psychological, individual cause. Homophobia is a heritage the older generation leaves for the younger, just as any other social fact.
Presuming there is latent homosexuality behind homophobia is just as absurd as presuming before homophobia got roots on western society there were no homosexuals. Or that once emperor Justinian blamed the sin of sodomy for earthquakes the number of homosexuals exploded as homophobia was growing. Or that the majority of medieval population was homosexual because the majority of medieval people were in favor sodomy laws. Or that the number of homosexuals plummeted once homophobia reduced in the XX century. Or that countries that have sodomy laws today have more homosexuals than countries without them. Homophobia is a power structure in straight people's society, and it's ridiculous to blame it's victims for it's origin.
If you are too tempted to look for psychological causes of homophobia because it has "phobia" in the word, then call by it's alternative names: heterosexism or heterosexual supremacism.

I like this part because it kind of subtly admits you don't actually have case examples of actual gay men you met. According to straight people, what could be considered a sign of (lantent) homosexuality? What on earth could not?
Having too many female friends? Having too many male friends? Being expressive emotionally ("real men only have about 5 emotions, and the gays are not real men!")? Being emotionally closed ("must be hiding something - something gay!")? Liking pop music? Liking the opera? Being interested in supermodels (we are all editors at fashion magazines, it is not homophobic at all to think so)? Being uninterested with female beauty (this last one is the only I consider possibly reasonable)?

Donald trump is a closeted self-hating gay man?

way it is
Individuals and Countries will continue to try .

recall an image in the Trump thread
with Trump and another together
the startled glare by Trump as in
'caught rabbitt in the headlights look' damn, was quite funny ..

not suggessting anything but ..
sort of akin to the images that used to come out when MJ was hounded relentlessly by the persecuting media/papanazic...ts

also
reminded me of the few times i had been virtually caugh out similar by my supposed lover haha

'self hating'not me, even if i dont act out in full open Gay,but closeted types may be for sure ..
happy to sit back and see what path the thread went, and await the knowledgable comments ha

imagine it happens WW tri
certainly here, and in the UK where i have read so many instances of

for gay men to be heavily "in the closet" to the point where they get married and have children.

edit

ALL sexy 'cause I am fucking straight. In fact I like REAL women...

I wish you would stop saying you're not partisan because your history clearly shows you are. When you pop in here to pontificate about how evil Hillary is but never have a negative thing to say about tRump it becomes pretty clear which side you're on. For example you like to point out how bad you feel the Clinton Foundation is but you've yet to say one iota against tRump and his so called Foundation.

Pence would be extremely popular at truck stops and rest areas...
Pence does seem to have a wife that a straight man would marry... cuuuute daughters though.

It just gets weirder, and weirder.

So glad I live in the rainy Northwest... Far, far away from the swampy Southeast.
