Happened to tune in the other day on a random channel on an interview with Bernie Sanders. He was asked a question by a dim-witted journalist whether he was a socialist. He laughed and said I am a democratic socialist, do you ask republican candidates whether they are capitalists?

It was an embarrassing moment of silence, then, thank you for your time Senator....then end of program shortly after.

Wondering if Bernie knows the secret herbs and spices recipe? Or whether it's classified under national security? :)

Like Carson, Trump talks out of his arse, imo. His economic proposals (as detailed in his 60 minute interview) have been debunked by analysts, he too seems inclined to speak before thinking, yet for all his professed billions his followers believe he's "one of them".

Why? Because he says the kind of shit they all are thinking. They don't care if the numbers don't add up.

You could be right.

I'm speaking of all those whiny --------------- right or left of the spectrum who inevitably lay all kinds of shit at his feet, and criticize him either because he's not enough this or that, or the next minute has done too much of the other.

Because he sometimes compromises to achieve an end he's not progressive enough, but then again, too liberal or divisive when he takes a stand on something. He's gone too far with drone attacks on specific targets, he's "about to get us into a war" someplace, but not far enough because he doesn't send in a couple hundred thousand men and women into battle. He's damned for trying to negotiate with some (Iran, Cuba) and for not negotiating with another...

Damned if he does or if he doesn't.

They seem to have more respect for blustery blowhards or those who by hook, crook, smoke or mirrors manage to silence or make their opposition disappear - all quick and quiet-like.

So they ought to LOVE Trump.

The bottom line? Anything he does they hate even if 5 minutes ago they loved it as soon as Obama likes it they hate it. Washington is not the problem they are the problem. When you come out against 'critical thinking' the only result is pristine stupidity. And the party strategists, Faux News , Breitbart et al play into this stupidity and reinforces the disinformation.

You comment on this because you live and have a brain. The damage done by Trump or Carson if either was elected would affect the rest of the world. Their damage wouldn't be limited to the U.S.
