She was a favorite on every tv show ever made in the 70s and 80s. From Bewitched to the Ghost and Mrs. Muir to Designing Women. A stalwart indeed and a great presence. She's one of the great women of tv and movies we want to delve into. Always a winner and always funny. God bless Alice!

    The Boston Beguine!

She of course was in Grease and To Kill A Mockingbird.

We talking about the same chick who played Esmeralda on Bewtiched, and whatever on designing women? Isn't she dead tho?

Appreciate for her years of yeoman service as a comedic foil? Yes.

    Adore? Not really.

I didn't even adore Elizabeth Montgomery, and she had that intelligent hottie thing going on.

Yup and yup (two years ago).

The way she warbles on some sustained notes reminds me just a bit of Ethel Merman.

Alice is kinda like reta Shaw who was a permanent prescence on tv from the 60-80s and in movies. I loved her also in the movie that I was born to remake..The Ghost and Mr. Chicken!

I liked her well enough and saw her once on Broadway. I can't say I loved her though and really disliked her character on Designing Women.
