These people shouldn't be so sensitive. I don't like being ignored myself but I don't expect replies from every random person I just started talking to on the internet.
But JennyS made it seem like she has ongoing PM's with someone, then just stops. I don't expect replies from the first email/PM either.

I understood her to mean maybe after five or ten pms all on the same subject (that she was interested in), someone would continue messaging her just to shoot the shit or chit-chat as if that one conversation was an entre into friendship, yet they had nothing else interesting to say.

I get the same thing, and though I try to reply to every message I get on here or myspace or wherever else, I can't keep up with everyone. So I sympathize.

Yes, sometimes.

If I'm in the middle of a real conversation about something, then no, I wouldn't, that would be silly.

But sometimes those conversations end, and then the person who had written me keeps writing me each day, asking how my day was or what's going on etc etc. And in those cases, yes, sometimes I just don't reply.

Saying "Stop writing me" would make me feel too guilty. Saying "Stop writing me until you have something interesting to say" would feel way too arrogant.

It's just... like I said... I prefer to do most of my writing out here in the forums. To me, PMs are just for the occasional personal side conversation that might spring up. But I really don't want to enter into a kind of penpal relationship with people where I'm talking about what's going on in our lives each day, etc.

And I know that might sound rude, and I don't mean it to be, I'm just trying to honestly answer you about where I'm coming from.

but.. if we ask for your name... you might assume we're stalking you.:cool:

...

Is it a bad idea to admit my fetish for stupid ugly obnoxious women when I message them the first time?

Maybe just keep it initially to saying you find her attractive, then in the 2nd or 3rd message you can admit your fetish and why you find her attractive. Can guarantee the response (if any) that you'll get though

Maybe guys are purposely inept? It's possible that we enjoy being dirty, crass, and getting a reaction just for the sake of it. I personally never get in anyone's face online, but I think some guys like doing it, in the same way that they might enjoy some harmless teasing or being a bit of a badass in real life. No big deal. It doesn't warrant the whole "oh my god, what a loser, I can't believe he... " shtick. It's just part of the game of life, and not worth being offended/condescending about.

No, not at all. the point is if you do PM a lady then try and make it for a conversation and not just a "do you like my cock?" or "Want to cam?" message.
Surely these type of messages just show you what type of person they might be. Just ignore them and reply to the ones you like. I am getting tired of women saying "we want this", "we want that", and "this is how to lick our clits". Maybe it's about time we men showed you women a thing or two: like how to give a good hand job because what I've had from women has been really poor effort!!! ( not nice is it? but that's what we have been putting up with)

It doesn't seem very PC for a man to be demanding these days (unlike women).

I'm sorry ladies but I had to say that! Need a lie down now!!!

You had it all your own way for long enough SBE, now it's our turn :)
I really hope you are playing Devils advocate! No, I personally didn't have my own way I have always gone for a balance thank you and it's greedy to take advantage of a "historical/social turnaround". It is possible to have a balance but women are from venus and men are from mars ( with grey areas in between). Just ignore the messages you don't like!! simple! I get messages from guys to cam or rate thier cocks etc so I just ignore them (still get pestered by them though). Did have blunt messages from two females saying they loved my gallery and I admit that was refreshing - I thanked them and that was the end of it.

What's wrong with greed? And we do largely ignore the messages we don't like but if you had any idea how many we got you'd understand why we're sometimes frustrated at coming to sites and finding a plethora of messages, all the same, and none of them worth reading.

I don't want to argue with you as I love what you say in threads and you talk alot of sense but I hate this Man v woman thing (!it's a pet peeve)!!

Sorry, I thought greed was a bad thing. If you advocate greed then maybe you don't mind if men fought back over this "it's our turn now" and then getting the upper hand - again. Then men can be greedy once more

Basically if that's what they want to write then it is an indication of the type of guy they are. You can't change them because underneath lurks the man you don't like.

Yes indeed how dare you!!! In my post I refered to the Political Correctness aspect. Men just don't feel as though they are allowed to say what they want in "bed" etc. It's political correctness gone mad! I'm going to start a revolution! I need a lie down again!:biggrin1: You can give me a hand job any time darlin'.
