Welllll....the first time was kinda an accident, and we haven't tried any thing anal since then but as to the hows and wherefores...yah, it's similar to a slimline silver bullet one...it's actually a rather tasteful floral pattern (I picked it out myself and chose colors that complimented the sheets). It uses two AA batteries to give you an idea of it's size.
