Stock market tumbles, drops over 200 points, biggest loss in 3 months, nose dive happens as President Do-nothing gives another hot air speech.

"Tuesday's stock declines came as European markets suffered their worst losses in more than three months, amid increasing worries about a swap of Greek debt by private creditors and weak signals on economic growth. Additionally, a second reading on the euro zone's combined fourth-quarter gross domestic product showed a contraction of 0.3% in the final three months of 2011." --Wall Street Journal

Yep. Gotta' be Obama's fault.

Republicans need to pick a different strategy than Obama has done nothing. I believe the reason Republicans hate Obama so much is because he is an effective liberal-leaning leader. Deal with it and find a new talking point or you will face another defeat in November.

And since it looks like the Republicans can't decide who in their party will make a strong leader, it is ironic that "poor leadership" is the Republican's primary criticism of Obama.

But then we've known for decades now the hypocrisy of the Republican party.

Sorry to hijack the thread

:soapbox:

Huuum....I guess it's because Obama didn't have a speech today.

Stocks Rally to Pre-Crisis Heights

Nasdaq has had it's rallies in the past, nothing to get too excited over. The markets will continue roller coasting for a while, up then down then up up up then a sudden drop where all the news programs will lead with it as the story talking about historic number drops.

Which sort of corroborates sargon's point: it's not Obama's fault.
