Here's a thread I posted in a similar forum of LPSG:

Until two months ago, downloading was possible on JustFor.Fans through various video downloaders incl. Video DownloadHelper. It then all stopped when the platform switched to HLS Streaming and M3U8-type of videos.

I totally understand the argument against piracy, but these following points ought to be considered…

Many fans *are* actually subscribed to one or more JFF models (in my case, a total of eight models). Therefore, we are actually supporting the models with monthly money, and occasionally even tips or PPV purchases.

We only want to download for our own private viewing so we can watch offline, play the scene on a large television screen, play the scene via our own media player such as VLC that allows one to play a particular segment in a loop (instead of constant rewinding), that allows one to have two or more players open at the same time so we can watch different scenes or parts of a scene all at once, etc.

Besides, Internet streaming sometimes comes with the problem of buffering (intermittent interruptions during playback), even with a good computer and reliable Internet connection.

I’m still able to download from OnlyFans (I guess those are non-DRM accounts). The JustFor.Fans issue wasn’t solved yet. I prefer JFF (totally staffed by sex workers) and would rather support that platform (OnlyFans charges taxes, JFF doesn’t), but I may end up joining some of those of models on OnlyFans if I can no longer download.

Studio websites usually allow download for one’s personal use. I understand there may be piracy, but totally blocking downloads is not the solution.

I just found a solution! I was told account settings on JFF provide two options for onsite video player. The default is JS Player. The user found that changing to the HTML5 player again allows downloads (for now). The latter option apparently doesn't offer 1080p viewing/downloading, but rather defaults to 540p."

Also...

Coconut downloader will only download vids in low resolution (540p) for me for some reason. Luckily I found a workaround to save them at higher resolutions: You create a playlist, add the vids you want to rip to that playlist and then you can go and download them from the playlist in higher resolution. It's a bit of a pain in the ass but at least it gets the job done.

And I just joined another Onlyfans that unfortunately has DRM enabled:

Caleb Sky (@CalebSky)

Unsubbed! At some point here I'm just gonna quit joining Onlyfans altogether. I can only be disappointed so many times before I simply throw in the towel and quit wasting my money. Ironically I'll go back to torrenting all of my porn for free like I used to (the very thing they're trying to avoid with that DRM shit).

Note: In order to access your playlist, you need to go to your own JustForFans userpage; it’s something like “justfor dot fans / SuperFan something”. You then need to click on “Playlists,” then on the icon with the three squares and three rectangles, and then play the video at your chosen resolution, and then download it w/ any downloader.

This means that downloading was still available all along but just well hidden. The playlist may contain one video only if it makes it easier for you.

Also, there are three inverted pink arrows near the middle of the screen you can click on in order to access videos by date. title, name of performers or items written in the captions, etc.

Can you show a screenshot? I can’t seem to find the “Playlists” button/option on my jff userpage.

@Fartsniffer12

You first need to add the chosen video on a playlist by clicking on “Playlist,” then “Create New Playlist,” then filling in the blanks, and then clicking on “Add Playlist.”

You may then access your playlist on your userpage by clicking on “Playlists” and selecting the big icons. In order to download, you need to play the video from the playlist, select the preferred format (540p or 1080p), and then download it with any downloader.

On the download list, you may right-click the item and then select “Save link as” in order to download the item in any specific location on your computer or external USB drive.

It is best to then delete the video from the playlist to make it easier to find the next video you’ll download from the playlist.

It’d be easier if they just installed a download button like many paysites.

In regard to DRM on OnlyFans… Here’s a tip… Try disabling hardware acceleration on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.), relaunch your browser, and see if you’re able to download any DRM videos.

To view this content we will need your consent to set third party cookies.
For more detailed information, see our cookies page.

As for JustFor.Fans, if the playlist method no longer works, go to account settings and select the HTML player under "General Settings" (so the videos play as regular mp4 files), and then relaunch your browser. And then, go to the desired video, and click on the date shown above the video in order to access the onepost and facilitate downloading. Play the video, select the desired quality (540p or 1080p) by clicking on the screw icon on the screen, and try downloading it with Video DownloadHelper or CocoCut. If it doesn’t work, then try disabling hardware acceleration, and then relaunch your browser and try again.

Hello guys, it's been a month I can no longer download from my playlist. How do you do ?

Go to account settings, “General Settings,” and then select HTML5 under “Video Settings” in order to download. You may then need to relaunch your browser or computer.

But the playlist method once again works.
Can you use the playlist method with OF? Only able to bookmark in OF and this does not allow for downloading a DRM file (JFF does work for the playlist method thankfully).
