I agree with burns1de. joejack's pics of his dick are sick.

Hey, that rhymed. :)

I mean, if you can rate a pic below a five, then you should be able to make a negative comment on it. I know I wouldn't want to hear that shit about my junk, but then again I wouldn't post it if it didn't look good. Disgusting is a harsh word, but if that's someone's opinion then they should be free to use it.

I think we are a culture so caught up in the "don't tell me what I can or cannot do", that we forget about the simple act of courtesy. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it. Disliking someone's looks or photos does not mean you HAVE to make negative remarks simply because you have the ability. In the end, purposefully setting out to say or do something rude to another with no other reason than to be hurtful is a reflection on the one making the remarks. I can't see any true pride or real satisfaction resulting from such a incident.

there's been an influx lately of fakers, assholes, and fucktards which has coincided with the disappearance of really interesting posters. it's made LPSG a lot less fun, and there's a lot more petty bullshit going on than i seem to be used to. or at least, not enough good stuff to balance it out. there's only so much juvenile bullshit one can read before wanting to kill everyone. not that i am immune to spouting my own juvenile bullshit. there just seems to be a dearth of interesting material here and we are descending on each other like vultures.

Burns1de, it's summer. You haven't been here during summer before, so you don't know what to expect. Well, all the kids are out of school, people are bored and hot, and they end up here, making asses of themselves.

...but then again I wouldn't post it if it didn't look good. Disgusting is a harsh word, but if that's someone's opinion then they should be free to use it.

Maybe the guy believes his pics look good. And no one has said anyone else cannot express their opinion in as polite or rude a manner as they chose. (Except for Burns1de.) All anyone has put forth is that people should be able to take the very same attitude they dish. Rudeness begets rudeness here, generally.

So I'm inconsiderate and heartless - that's YOUR opinion. You don't see me telling you to shut the fuck up, right?

What makes your brand of rudeness more appropriate than anyone elses? just when did your shit stop stinking?

Exactly.

Is it really like this every summer?

I was wondering this too. I was really loving it here...Oh now don't get me wrong, I still love it here, but there are more insulting/rude comments lately. I don't like that on other online forums I've been on, and have quit a few because of arguments, of course those I've been in the middle of! For someone who tries to avoid arguments, I seem to get in the middle of them an awful lot! I'm trying really hard to avoid them here, though! And I don't like insulting/rude comments here, either.

I agree. I know that there will be disagreements, but it's hard to focus on what someone's real viewpoint is when a post is filled with trigger words. I noticed it started happening quite a bit in the forums I have been on for a couple of years. Drama in multiple threads becomes a little exhausting. Even threads meant to be light or funny suddenly become a battleground because one person enters and is immediately aggressive.

I am a newbie, but I have to say I really enjoy LPSG. There a lot of witty, intelligent, knowledgable, passionate, funny and perverted  people here. Because of my career I generally work 48 hour shifts and then have lots of days off, and this is a great way to avoid having to pull weeds in my yard when I'm not out playing! :biggrin1:

The ToS allows a member to be an asshole. Doesn't mean that member will win many friends and influence many people.

All we know about you (any member) is what we read here. We have no other basis for our evaulution of you (any member)

Consider that when you post. You may become the most popular poster here. Who knows. On the other hand, you may be the least favorite poster of all time.

And all of this can happen and never break a rule in the ToS.

In general though, we ask members leave the threads and go to private messages to discuss an issue when it becomes apparent that no one else is posting in that thread except the two people who are at it. Notice I said TWO. I didnt' say just three or four. If I had meant three or four I would have said so. Even a discussion between three people would be a bit difficult through private messages.

Again consider what you post. Sometimes it is better to remain silent and people think you are a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt.

And this comes from a member who has just written a long post.

Besides the LPSG Assholes of Distinction, an invite your self and invite others only club, is the most inclusive club here at the LPSG. Some wear the Asshole Seal on their jacket proudly.

There always has been, and always will be, drama at LPSG. But it does seem as though it gets worse at certain times. Summer being one of them. I remember last summer, when I joined, there was quite a bit of upheavel and nastiness. I'd say that if anyone plans on staying at LPSG for a long time they'd better get used to seeing a lot of drama.

I didn't realize that you and I had joined within weeks of each other. Not having been here a full year, I quite agree with you. It's been pretty bad since about mid April of this year. P.S. I like your new pics, they are VERY nice. :05:

Only my opinon. It always been like this and for some reason are more awake in the summer. Now they see what was already there. Who knows? LOVE IS THE FLOWER- JOHN LENNON:smile:
I know that there have always been trolls and drama, but I really do think the last 2 months were worse than the previous 5. I want to attribute it to college kids being out in late April in many places not to mention high school students from May onward. It's either that or sunspots. :biggrin1: lol
