Depending on which forum you go into, yes there can be a lot of drama. But there are also many good forums that are not full of drama.

Welcome! I agree with Gj816; it just depends on where you go on the site. I will say that your ability to avoid the drama, not attack folks and keep your cool can become a good tool for testing and building your character. When I open a thread that interests me and it is full of drama, I just move on. LPSG is also a site that is comprised of some great members contributing all sorts of photos, videos and opinions that you will enjoy.
