So the other night for the first time in about a year I had a dream about my last girlfriend. It was rather strange due to the over all tone and nature of the dream. It started of first with me having longer hair and a very interesting tattoo located on my upper right arm over my right pectoral muscle. I also weighed about a good 20 pounds lighter with about 8 percent body fat. I was back at school in a studio painting when I had seen my last girlfriend pass by. She noticed and then came into the studio and we started to chat for a quick second. She then stepped out and I finished what I was painting. I then left the studio I was in and while walking through the campus I had seen her again and she was like wow you've changed a lot and you look great, I followed with saying something very similar, then asking how her family and everything in her life was doing. Then the dream quickly shifted to a parking lot where I see her again, yet this time we get close and then lean in for a kiss, following a few rather intense seconds of kissing we end up in the back seat of a car fucking like we've missed each other for years. The dream is quickly interrupted as I wake to the sound of something in the background. After I awake I realized what I was just dreaming about and begin to question why and what it may have been all about. Maybe it was just a dream but who knows. Any ideas or thoughts on what it could mean?

Changing of appearances, creation of art, a tattoo. The painting is to indulge your imagination, you're looking all arty and studly. Confidence is excellent and you pursue her. You feel you have to change into someone else to be with her. Do you remember what you were painting?

The parking lot represents the transience of the relationship. They are temporary places, places of comings and goings, of impermanence.

I think you know it's over and you're not the type she wants though you partly blame yourself for not having the appearance you want to project yet you still desire her. The parking lot symbolizes you know that she or you or both won't stick around for long.
