This just in: drunk teenagers are having more sex

New research out of Harvard Medical School has proven what everyone who has ever gone to a high school party already knows. Drunk teenagers are getting laid more often than their sober peers. The study polled 305 teenagers to see how many CRAFFT criteria they matched. CRAFFT is an evaluation system meant to determine whether teens are at a high risk for substance abuse problems. The six questions really get in-depth, pertaining to such things as riding in a Car with someone under the influence, using controlled substances to Relax or being warned about your toxic habits by Family and Friends. Hasn’t everyone?

After controlling for gender, age and other demographic factors, the study found that teens with a positive CRAFFT screening (ie: the drunk ones, who accounted for around 16 percent of those polled) had a higher chance of getting it on after using controlled substances. No surprise there. Unfortunately, these teens were also more likely to have sex without a condom or engage in uncouth activities with multiple partners.
What exacctly are they calling an uncouth activity that's not sex? More importantly, why is Harvard wasting valuable research money on things even hs drop outs already know to be fact.

Well NJ Harvard has many departments other than a medical research facility...who knows maybe this research will someday reveal a link to early substance abuse to cancer.
