There was a family in my town that had 18 kids. No twins. They all worked together - were very close, went to church together and all were very hard workers and very nice people. They raised huge gardens every year and canned lots of food. The mother made a lot of their clothes (esp the girls ) and the mother was a great cake decorator. She opened a business making wedding dresses, clothes, wedding cakes etc
They were always well dresses, clean, house was clean, yard was beautiful and the thing I noticed the most was that they treated each other with respect and love. They were very involved in church activities as a family and if you ever needed anything - all you had to do is call them. they knew how to build ( they built their own house from the ground up), such a talented family. Several of the boys went into the Marines and served their country. Now that the kids are all grown up and married, they have a lot of grandkids. My family is always invited to their family renuion and we have so much fun. There is so much good food and games etc. They are a good Christian family and I admire them so much. Anyone in town knows to call on them if you have a problem and they will show up in droves to help you. My wife and kids and I had to move about 200 miles away and they all came and loaded up everything from my house - drove the 200 miles and help us set up our new house. NO charge - they would not even take gas money. You don't find people like this every day.
