That might be so, but it is much easier timing with a watch to convince yourself your the man than to keep track of your exact motions. :biggrin1:

I like that KY "Intense" (that's pretty good, imo) commercial where the couple is lying in bed after having sex and he says, "I'm the man", and she repeats contentedly, "You're the man." lol!

I agree with the posters who say, if it's good, you don't keep track of time, but I think long is goooooood.

I don't know what KY Intense is, but i can imagine that kind of commercial, and it is funny but we men need to convinces ones self over and over again, and it can be quite comical. I mean i do like to count scratches on my back the next day and many other silly things that kind of assure me.

But i just find the idea of having sex with a girlfriend, while she is already totally turned off and is not enjoying herself anymore and i am just looking at my watch thinking, "man 12 minutes to go for a new personal record, i am going to make it, i am the man!" so ridiculous. It is such a laughable idea, i just can not see that happen, its not like i don't like long sex, i want to spend as much time that way as i can, but i am just convinced that when it is enough for either one the other one feels it and reacts. If i feel she gets uncomfortable, and maybe sore i just start doing something different and therefore just have a hard time how one can actually go to long, i guess that is only possible if you are really more focused on your watch than your partner

15-30 minutes is about right. Although if we get into foreplay it could last an hour or so. I like my sex like I eat... 3 square meals.

Some I most remember are the quickies - one in particular was about 60 seconds long. She came pretty much as I was sliding in; that got me so hot I exploded shortly thereafter. Awesome and efficient :biggrin1:

It used to take me an hour to orgasm with myself when i didn't have much sensitivity. Some guys jack off way too much in one position and can't orgasm any other way. Some guys may have high blood pressure, nerve issues in their back, psychological stuff going on, and most commonly medications can make you not be able to. Many possible reasons why a guy could take an hour to orgasm.

I'm just hoping to God that my husband never ends up taking an hour to orgasm. That would suck for me and him. He wouldn't want to last ages either.

What does taking long to orgasm, or even not being able to, have to do with just going on with no regard for the girls comfort.

I think there are dudes who really are working as hard as they can to orgasm, they just take a really long time. Not having owned a vagina or been fucked in the ass for 47 minutes past their limit....they might not be realizing they are making her uncomfortable at all. In fact, based on some of the responses in this thread, there are a few women with Kevlar vag's.

I can have sex for an incredibly long time with an average penis easily, and enjoyably if he's a great lover and I've done so. TheBoyfriend makes me feel like I have a fragile "crystal vagina" (which is what he calls it, because he feels like he's going to break it).

It all depends on perspective.

I think you can sense if someone gets uncomfortable even if you have no chance to experience that exact same feeling.
And if the girl can not show it, she should say it, just do something else then is what i say. There are many women who enjoy sex even if they don't get to orgasm, and men can too, i once was on medication for a short time that made it hard for me too, and there have been times i was not able to cum, but is till enjoyed it, and was fine with the fact that at some point it was enough because the girl i was with was not one of the few with a kevlar vag.
Obviously i want to cum, but if it doesn't happen in a certain situation just go on do something both are comfortable with.

As most people on here have mentioned, I do not exactly look at the clock while having sex. I hardly have a clue what time it is at all if I am having great sex.
It also depends on my mood: One time I want lots of foreplay and lots of sex, another time I want a quickie without any foreplay.
It just sucks when a guy keeps going and going and going, and I am already getting turned off and getting sore, cause I get......dry.
I've been with a guy who needed a very very long time to cum, even when he masturbated.
So we usually had sex for a while, until I was absolutely satisfied and then I went back to giving him oral or a handjob, or even us both playing with ourselves until he finally came.
But often he stayed hard even after cumming, so we had to go for another round.....this can be fun, but with a really hung guy it can be painful.
Anyways, I think all women are different and it mostly depends on what kind of mood we are in- quickie or long session.

Btw: Yep, I do tell a guy if I start feeling uncomfortable or not so turned on anymore in case he doesn't "feel" it himself- which he usually can, cause he should feel me getting dry.

What's all this about not watching the clock? Don't you look over at your clock and go, hmmmm its 1am, do i want to spend the next hour awake or should i get some sleep. Ahhh i think sex is worth it. And then when you are done and laying there in post coital bliss at 1:27 (ha) aren't you thinking, well that was definitely worth staying up for.

Seriously, don't you have clocks in your bedroom? Like where you can see them, in the dark, from your bed?

Of course I have a glow in the dark clock (is that even how you call them in english? lol), but no, I stay so focused on moaning, talking dirty and the sex and my partner, that I have no time to, nor even think of looking at the clock.
But yeah, when I lay there and look at it afterwards and see how late it has gotten I do think: Damn, that was worth not getting enough sleep! (ok, ok, I've been with guys that weren't worth it, but then it wont happen again)

I dont watch the clock during sex, but i do glance and all sort of things around the room. When i see the clock my brain automatically calculates time, its like when you are literate, you can't help but read words when you see them.

I never think, wow this is lasting way too long or anything. But i also notice the clock when im doing other various and sundry things.

We rarely have sex in bed and no, there isn't usually a visible clock nearby.

I expect that will change as the munchkin gets older.

I don't normally keep track of time, but I'd say average time for actual intercourse is probably 30 min.-45 min. Before I cum the first time, and then 45 min - 1hr the second time. I have fucked for almost 2 hours but my partner had to have extra lube about every 30 minutes and she was very sore the next day so I try to keep it shorter.
