I don’t think the virus is a hoax; I’m not one of those idiots. The group of people that this virus is the biggest threat to is elderly people and/or people with underlying conditions. The fact that nursing homes are being forced to take in COVID patients infecting everyone else makes this seem like systematic murder of the elderly. There have also been studies with data supporting the theory that a person is ~18x more likely to contract COVID through repeated, long-term, enclosed settings & intrafamilially. Basically, a nursing home would be a perfect scenario for systematic murder. The evidence is showing you’re much less likely to contract the virus in outdoor, short- & one-term contact with a stranger in public. Odds increase or decrease based on certain factors.

Masks work. Social distancing in public works. Lockdowns DO NOT work. The increased levels in anxiety, depression, despair, & suicide among all people who have been affected by the lockdowns is heartbreaking. They have lost their salaries from their jobs and/or business from these pointless lockdowns & people are fed the f*** up.

In all truth, no news media outlet is fully trustworthy enough & I'm baffled you actually seem to trust the media. Left- or right-winged, none of them are telling the complete truth & are grossly twisting the facts to spread fear. The elderly should especially be treated much better & should be more of the focal point for treatment & prevention of spread. But the fact you seem to trust the media is bafflingly naive of you.

I’m so over the “depression, anxiety” line. People are depressed, anxious and commit suicide everyday. The people who are actually unstable enough to succumb to any of this would just eventually be triggered by something else and kill themselves anyway.

Cities like New York and New Orleans have shown us that locking down works to get the numbers down. Social distancing and wearing masks only work if people actually do it. A large portion of conservative White America refuses to do either. We have governors suing mayors over mask mandates while sheriffs and police chiefs all across the country are publicly announcing that they won’t be enforcing mask/distancing orders because they violate some snowflakes assumed constitutional right.
