dvd maker

    hi all
    i must look for a new dvd maker....something for dummies...i have my downloads on a seperate hd so will take them from that.

    can someone give me a shove in the right/wrong direction.

    Nero. It's simply the best out there. Do a search and do some reading about it. Stay away from Roxio DVD software. It's garbage and a waste of money.

    I use Sothink DVD burner, and it worked fine for me. Plus, it's free.

    I use Nero for my data discs and Music Match for my music files, because of the volume leveling feature. (Nero offers that now as well.)

    I use Roxio media because my BlackBerry uses it, otherwise I do not bother with using it for burning any media.

    Alcohol 120% is great software as well.

    I have used Nero and Roxio. Lately I have been using Windows Movie Maker to burn video to DVD. Works well.

    Search your computer for Movie Maker. It comes standard on Windows machines.
