Recently I saw a music video. I was watching a dvd of THREE OF A KIND. The video was Tony Basil. Sang "Mickie".....two weeks later the song, a playful little romp, won't leave my mind.

Anyone else have this reaction to a nice tune?

All the time. A few weeks ago it was one of those "free credit report" jingles (aaaaaargh!); right now, it's "I'm Looking Through You" by The Beatles -- a much more enjoyable worm.

I started to avoid this - EAR WORM. Sounded like some sort of leach therapy. LOL

Yes, I know what you mean about jingles sticking in the mind. One day while trying on clothes, I kept hearing the Nelly Furtado song "Promiscuous Girl" in my head. Before I knew it I was putting on a fashion show in the mirror because of the tune in my head.

Anytime that someone says something about songs that are stuck in your head I always think of the Kylie Minogue song "Can't get you out of my head" and then it's stuck in my head. Thanks...

"Well I was lookin for a new car, which one's me? A cool convertible or an SUV. Too bad I didn't know that my credit was wack 'cause now I'm driving off the lot in a used sub-compact...F-R-E-E that spells free, credit re-port dot com, baby!"

    Oh, and

"Nausea, heartburn, indegestion, upset stomach, diarrhea...PEPTO BISMOL!"

Those are just two of the many songs stuck in my head. It's a good playlist for the long ride home.

I'm frequently haunted (since about age 15) by the Overture to Giachino Rossinis' La gazza ladra (The Theiving Magpie). You all know it. You just don't know you know it.
