Lie detectors can be affected by several things on the part of the "suspect" and by one or two things by the operator. This is why they are not used as evidence in court. As a tool, the technology has improved to an amazingly precise level, however the human variables on both ends of it can create false positives and false negatives. Inconclusive occurs when the positives and negatives don't remain consistent. DNA is different, fingerprints are different.
[Serious] Do we know how big his penis was? : EARONS
Yesterday in a socially distanced courtroom-- actually a converted ballroom at Sacramento State University-- Joseph James DeAngelo pleaded guilty to a lengthy list of his heinous crimes and will spend the rest of his natural life behind bars. He appeared heavily sedated, far older and smaller than his listed seventy-four years and 5' 10" height.
I discovered a discussion thread at reddit where a poster had extracted victim descriptions of his penis in 37 assaults and rapes. There were several women who estimated his length to be as much as 5" with several others estimating in the 3" to 4" range. Likely he was very tiny when flaccid and like other rapists, had expended so much physical and emotional energy committing the crime he was unable to produce a full erection, which was likely in the range of 5".
Watching a frail DeAngelo whisper out his guilty plea on our KABC evening news, my mind automatically flashed-back to the nationwide discussion over his penis.
