Rest easy, everyone: the homeopaths are on the case.

Homeopaths sent to deadly Ebola hotspot to treat victims with ARSENIC and SNAKE VENOM | Daily Mail Online

Ebola victims in one of the hardest-hit parts of Liberia have been treated by homeopaths who are determined to prove that arsenic, rattlesnake venom and the aphrodisiac Spanish Fly can cure Ebola.

The homeopaths arrived in Liberia to use the deadly outbreak to prove their controversial theories and have already spent two weeks in the country with patients in a hospital in Ganta, in the north of the country near to the epicentre of the outbreak.

In letters and messages seen by Mail Online they revealed that the aim of their mission was to prove that homeopathy could treat Ebola.

'The manufacturers of experimental vaccines will then have to change their opinions,' boasted Dr Edouard Broussalian, one of the team of two men and two women working in the remote area.
Valuable information about homeopathy on this site: How Does Homeopathy Work?

You were being sarcastic right? These countries get large amounts of their income through tourism.

no i was not
i imagine there will be tourists who would 'think twice' about visiting those African Countries that have been majorly affected with ebola

i dont think thats got much to do with what an individual may think where his/her health is concerned, esp after the excess hysteria thats flown about in some Countries

and i congratulate discussion on ebola, unlike the usual .. need i say them again
gun control/racist shootings etc

I'm just confused about what you were saying. It seemed to me like you were saying that without tourism, they would be able to focus on upgrading their countries when they need tourism to be able to do so.

Ideally, I hope that the western soldiers deployed in the countries are able to take pictures and collect stories of all the wonderful things they do see as Ebola is eventually defeated there. I hope they come back and tell people about the waterfalls, great hiking trails, and other beautiful sites. Then maybe tourism can be even better than before.

i do totally understand that almost every Country does rely to a great degree on Tourism .. NZ certainly does

why NZs PM turned up on Letterman answering the 10 questions? ha, he is the Minister of Tourism as well
we did benefit from that exposure apparently

i cant see the African ebola affected Countries benefitting at all, from the crazed mass hysteria American style has created, there behaviour re it has been worse than childish, thats been my experience of seeing whats happened.. and if a Country hick from NZ like me can recognize that imagine, the millions out there who will be thinking .....???

Don't confuse what you see on the TV with reality. Mass hysteria only occurred in the CNN newsroom and the Republican caucus. West Africa gets very few American tourists and in two months they'll have forgotten all about eeebola.

No no no. Republicans forced the government to take action and that stopped Ebola in it's tracks. So there. And we're gonna campaign on that.

What's Mr. Blitzer moved on to? What's the new Situation?

ISIS ISIS ISIS has new friends Wolf was screaming the other day. From one fear to the next. That the knuckle draggers are going to demand government to do something about.

BUMP

1st ever bump in 7 years, possibly a 1st ever bump in the politics forum ha
ebola conveniently dropped off the radar/talking the World media
even casual browsing/readings of news has little about it, am sure its not just 'gone away'
wonder if it were rife in a different region would the coverage be more intense ..
another memner did mention this/similar i think

No I am still looking into it. I talked with my friends about it and how they're devastated they are. I'm also looking into groups to support sensitization efforts like Peace Corps and other DC based groups.

But yeah, there needs to be a major development for newscasters to pick up on it. There was some ridiculous commentators saying Hagel was pushed out because Obama wanted to blame him for Ebola. Absurd troublemakers.

mmmmm how silly that was
even i from afar picked up that Hagel was perhaps asked to stand aside for some other person more akin to the O admins desire to knock out ISIS if that is indeed the case ha, well thats the impression i got from several news sources
Thank G i never heard that ridiculous comment re ebola/Hagel .. hate that sort of crap ..

GOOD Work btw

Here's some photos of Ebola survivors. I've been to both areas described in these photos.

You'll have to go to HPost to find the story bc I guess there are rules on posting the actual link here:
