EVH is an alcoholic and had a major coke/meth habit. He was a mess on the 2004 reunion tour with Sammy Hagar. He could barely stand up on stage much less play guitar. The band reunited with Roth in 2006/2007. Eddie still a mess, stopped the tour midway and entered rehab. The last I heard he is doing great. He was also on the 2008 or 2009 season premier of Two and a Half Men. He looked great and played a sic but short guitar solo. I hope he stays clean. So much talent. Too much to waste on drugs and alcohol.
