    I keep being told to edge, and it will help with what im lookin for...but I've tried edging alot, i jack off to the point of no return then i stop and wait for the feeling to subside but when the feeling goes away so does my erection, i got completely soft most of the time and i cant seem to get it back up for a while... help?

    It's like running- you may not be able to run for several miles straight at first, but you will in time if you keep at it. So the key to success with edging/Stop and Start is persistence.

    Edging is, well, a 2-edged sword. :biggrin1:
    It sounds like the refractory period is setting in and that typically isn't an issue for a guy your age. Perhaps you just were not totally into it in the first place? Maybe you had a time contraint or maybe some stress?

    Try this. You don't really want to get to that point where your orgasm contractions start because you brain then thinks you have shot your load and down periscope she goes and you are frustrated as hell. What you are aiming for is to stay in that INTENSE ZONE just *before* your orgasm contractions begin.

    So, when you first "feel the cum cumming," even the slightest, smallest, contraction, STOP. This is how you begin to practice edging. You then train your brain to go to the second contraction, and then the third. It really is a difficult discipline to pick up because the better you get at staying in the ZONE, the more INTENSE the pressure and desire for you to shoot your load. The intensity is overwhelming.

    RELAXATION is key throughout the entire process. Relax when it gets intense, over and over and then, when you have that first contraction, your brain will be use to you relaxing and your cock should not go limp. Then it is 1 step, or contraction, at a time.

    However, this will not always work perfectly. Sometimes, you will just go over the edge and cum will fly, *even if you have completely relaxed!* However, after you have practiced a LOT, even a few squirts will not make your cock go down. Here is where I will lose it. At that point, I have to quickly shoot out everything I can. I have not developed the discipline needed to do this repeatedly.

    I've been trying that, but it doesn't work to well... any advice? Cause back when i started high school (im in college now) I could edge for over a hour or more......do you think my junk could be busted:bigeyes2:?!

    I posted this at Thunder's Place.org, it's what I do and it's one of the best things that I learned from Dr.Lin's websites:

    It took me a long time to desypher Dr.Lin's bad English but eventually I got the hang of it. It is used to avoid the "point of no return" before an orgasm. The only way to stop ejaculation otherwise, is to kegel as hard as possible and hold back the ejaculate.
    The advantage of the Chikong breathing technique is that if used several times to stop an orgasm (edging) your penis gets extremely hard and will stay hard for longer than normal and when you finally do have an orgasm it will be HUGE!!!! You will also find that your erection remains for some time afterwards.

    It takes a bit of practice but works very well when you get the hang of it. It becomes a challenge to do it when you haven't cum for several days - I still haven't quite mastered that.

    Instructions:

    1. Masturbate until you feel the first signs of an orgasm

    2. Stop stimulation

    3. At the same time - stick out your arse by contracting your lower back muscles, breath out quickly and inflate the lower part of your stomach as much as possible (as though you are mentally trying to squeeze your bladder) You should look like a duck in side view

    4. Hold your empty breath and that position until the desire to orgasm fades,

    5. Continue fucking or wanking until you feel those intitial signs of an orgasm again.

    6. Repeat step 3

    With practice, if you concentrate on breathing out whilst in that duck position you can actually prevent the orgasm from coming during some serious thrusting."

    Could other factors be interfering with your erections? Stress? Anxiety? I ask because your dilemma seems to be quite common amongst men new to the college scene.

    I am and always have been a highly stressed out person, so i don't know why it would have just started effecting me recently, i mean i don't think my stress has increase...although I was just put in some stress meds... which has killed my sex drive... But i just started the pills today so the effect of the pills has nothing to do with my edging

    Starting college can be a uniquely stressful experience, and combined with a higher workload that you're accustomed to, the expanded competitionnot to mention trying to measure up to the idea of being a "campus stud" will affect your stress and energy levels. A good proportion of men that I counsel are going through exactly what you're going through.

    Doing stamina work, exercising, watching your diet and actively working on depressurizing anxiety levels will help.

    Only a thorough check up would reveal anything if there is, but I'm stating that your situation is common enough amongst young men that don't have any physical issues. The anxiety created by believing that something may be wrong is often enough to cause issues.

    This sounds like what I started doing 8 years ago when I first started masturbating. I didn't know I was actually doing a technique, but just wanted to hold off on ejaculating because I wanted to keep on masturbating and feeling good. But what you describe, sounds much like what I do. Let me tell you it works great, and maybe it has something to do with my size.

    Anyone know any techniques you can do to increase girth while your completely hard and in a masturbation session? I feel like squeezing the base of my penis while I have an erection makes it fatter, but would like to know if there's some kind of a routine you can do like this.

    Some men do "erect jelqs" and squeezes although I find them a bit dangerous.

    Ok so since my last post, i practicing edging alot, i got up to 2 hours which was great but all a sudden like around last weekend I couldn't last long anymore, like i became really sensitive or something cause i can cum easily within 5 minutes now..its sux all my hard work, wtf happen?! :(

    Perhaps you're overtrained or you may have conditioned yourself incorrectly. How exactly were you performing your sessions?

    Two hours of any stamina is an enormous strain to put on your member.
