It is all about practice, practice and more practice. Not just physically but also in your mind. You need to want to hold it back, to challenge yourself to try a little harder and go for a little longer every time.
Re. the longer and more intense the edge, the less reason/need to spill the beans, that works in the same way for me. My bate/edge sessions usually last for 6-10 hours. Needless to say, I cannot do it every day as I also have a life
