I have no doubt alot of the women on here has degrees (although, I'm a little surprised you have one banisters =P )

I was just curious as to what kind of degrees..

What, does it seem like I was saying women don't have degrees?? That's not the point of the thread at all.

I didn't say I do have one. I didn't say I don't have one. I just didn't say. That doesn't mean anything.

And no, I didn't think you were trying to say that women don't have degrees. I just didn't think there was much in the way of effort put into your OP:

Womangs with brains??

What kinda brain-papers did yew be getting?

...so I didn't want to put any effort into answering. That's all.

But when you assumed no responses meant none of the female members had degrees I did feel like responding, because I know it isn't true.

Your original post implied that you were surprised to learn that some women here might have degrees, that's all.

I have 4 women in my family. Two of which have master's degrees: one in engineering and one in child psych. One went to one of the best nursing degree programs in the world and did well. And one has a two year degree and the only reason she never got anything else was because of life and mental issues.

I am not exactly the person to expect to be thinking women can't get degrees.

Edit: I just like the word womangs. Oh and the word has. Has you noticeds?

But you expect all women to be psychic and to understand your intent.

I never said you needed to instantly understand my intent.. It's not my problem that you think I'm being sarcastic or demeaning when I'm not.

I like how you made it general was like "you expect all women..".

Actually, I don't expect anything from "all women". The fact that you think that is telling about your own generalizations and your own discomfort with the male-female dichotomy.

Nice try, but no cigar.

You post a thread and then comment on getting no responses. It IS your responsibility as the OP to let the readers (and potential respondents) know your intent when presenting the thread or it is likely to get few responses or to go off topic.

Oh... look!

EDIT: Oh - and I never said I thought you were being demeaning or sarcastic - I merely came on to the thread to tell you that just because you had no responses it didn't mean the women here did not have degrees. I've been quite clear about that, I'm not really sure how you are not managing to comprehend that.

?

Splendid. I'm glad you come from a long line of educated women but you completely missed my point. From what I gathered you implied that women "here" - meaning women who frequent porn sites - are not as likely to hold a degree in higher education. That might not be what you meant but you didn't make yourself clear in your original post.

Full disclaimer: she's looking over my shoulder right now. She has a degree. It's framed, has a sharp edge and she's holding it in her hand right now. Although I am typing under duress I mean every word of this post and not the one directly above.

Thank you for your time.

Some of the women might not want to share which degrees they have because they like to remain anonymous. If they tell you what their degree is, it's a lot easier to figure out which field they work in. We don't want more members leaving because their info got into the wrong hands!

I guess you could just say like master's, 4 year, 2 year, and if it's a BA or BS, MA or MS?

That's pretty general enough for no one to really know anything. I'm still a little curious
