Ok two questions/problems. I am a 64 year old male with a very high libido and a large cock 7x7. I am also on Hormone replacement ( testosterone injections ) and have degenerative disc disease for which there is no fix or cure. Just daily pain meds 10 mg oxycodone 4 times a day and gabapendine 300 mg 3 times a day.

Problem 1 is I've lost the ability to ejaculate. I orgasm sometimes but no ejaculate. The doc says that because I get my testosterone from an outside source the body doesn't produce ejaculate any more. I have tried adding HCG to stimulate the leydig cells into producing sperm. All that did was mess with my hormones more and increase my estrodial well above normal. Estrodial could be the problem with sesativity but the numbers have been coming down since quitting HCG. Still at normal high range though. Any thoughts? Would love to bust a nut again.

Problem 2 is penile sensativity. I have very little and it is becoming a huge problem orgasming. I can fuck for ever and enjoy all that comes from the sex act but not orgasm. The only way lately is when the wife finishes me off with a true porn inspired blow job. I love it, but its alot of work for her and I don't want to put her thru that everytime we have sex. The doc and I are hoping it's the excess estrogen. I have even thought anal sex might help due the tightness of her butt. But I hesitate to bring that up. I have even tried some sex toys but all I get is a rug burn from most. LOL When I was younger I always wanted to be able to last longer All I do now is wear her out from her cumming too much. Thoughts or Ideas?

I can't offer you anything regarding the med's, but I do wonder if the additional stimulation to yourself from a prostate massager, perhaps one that vibrates would help. I'm thinking a 'toy' like that stimulating your prostrate while you have sex with the wife might be enough to put you over the edge without putting the extra stimulation effort all on the wife.

I would say your testosterone shots have nothing to do with it, I have been on them for 8 years now and never noticed a difference in loads. However I did have an accident 5 years ago now with some nerve damage and only ejaculate 1/3 I used too. If you have back pain you could be getting into nerve issues as well.

The gabapention I was on also and it caused my not to orgasm for a short time also no mater how hard or long I fucked. That went away for my though after a little time. I quit taking it.

most likely it's permanent even if you were to stop TRT

I wonder if you're experiencing retrograde ejaculation. I took a med for BPH prior to my prostate surgery (I forget what it was) and had a few episodes of no ejaculate. Of course now no ejaculate but I do have orgasms with or without an erection.

I'd be more suspect of the pain meds for your problems. Strong painkillers wreak havoc.

I would seek a physician with experience in this for another opinion than your present doc. I'm not saying he/she is wrong, but more eyes on a situation may reveal another path to take.

BTW, don't discount the age factor, which naturally will cause your symptoms too.

Please get a new doctor.

Gabapentin (what you probably mean by gabapendine) is not really a pain medication, as you indicated. It is marketed primarily to control seizures. However, it has an off-label use to control premature ejaculation. In other words, it can be used to prevent people from cumming. It is sometimes used to treat certain neuropathic pain, although I'm not sure how relevant this is to your disc condition, and this might not be the right med for you at all.

Your Oxycodone certainly is a pain medication, but it also has the effect (in common with other opiates) of inhibiting ejaculation. So you are on two "pain" drugs well-known to delay or prevent ejaculation.

Your doctor's claim that it is the testosterone therapy causing the problem, while completely ignoring the well-known effects of the other two drugs, boggles the mind, which is why I suggest you should get an opinion from another doctor. For the record, I am about you age, have been on testosterone therapy for a decade or so, and have only found it to increase ejaculate production.

Now, I too suffer from a lack of penile sensitivity, which makes it take forever to climax and ejaculate during sex. But this has been the case even when I was a young man, so it has nothing to do with medication and advancing age. While I seldom cum during the sex act itself, I will usually get myself off later with some extra stimulation (nipples) from my partner. One friend with benefits has learned to throw a towel over me when the moment comes, to contain the mess. So, testosterone therapy hardly causes dry orgasms.

(Although you don't mention it, if you are also on any prostate medication, which is not uncommon at your age, many of these can prevent the ejection of ejaculate, even though you orgasm normally. Sometimes it is retrograde into the bladder, in other cases the pelvic muscles are just so relaxed that there is not enough force.)

This is very good information. I also take Gabapentin and can now understand why I have an orgasm but no cum load. I am going to try not takin it for a week or so to see if I can produce ropes like I used to. Thanks again for the info. This is exactly why this site is so important to get information. Good show.

I take 1200mg of Gabapentin daily. Another off label use is anti-anxiety. Typically yes, it makes people tired. For me it kicks serotonin into high gear, and I actually have to take something to help me sleep. Has zero effect on my libido compared to things like Lexapro, Prozac, etc... SSRIs are boner and libido killers for me.

ericbear- I take the gabapentin for nerve pain in my leg and foot drop all starting from degenerative disc disease. It helps with the pain and I don't think I can go a whole day without taking it ( 300mg 3x/day ). But I am going to try. It is so frustrating not being able to orgasm on top of not being able to ejaculate. I know it sounds silly but I miss not being able to shoot a good load. I should get into xxx films cause you sure can go forever LOL:(
