Rudy Giuliani Sued by Dominion Voting Systems Over False Election Claims
The suit against Mr. Giuliani, a lawyer for former President Donald Trump who pushed to overturn the election results, accuses him of carrying out “a viral disinformation campaign.”
Dominion Voting Systems filed a defamation lawsuit on Monday against Rudolph W. Giuliani, the lawyer for Donald J. Trump and former mayor of New York City who played a key role in the former president’s monthslong effort to subvert the 2020 election.

The 107-page lawsuit, filed in the Federal District Court in Washington, accuses Mr. Giuliani of carrying out “a viral disinformation campaign about Dominion” made up of “demonstrably false” allegations, in part to enrich himself through legal fees and his podcast.

The suit seeks damages of more than $1.3 billion and is based on more than 50 statements Mr. Giuliani made at legislative hearings, on Twitter, on his podcast and in the conservative news media, where he spun a fictitious narrative of a plot by one of the biggest voting machine manufacturers in the country to flip votes to President Biden.

Mr. Giuliani, one of Mr. Trump’s closest advisers and confidants, has faced continuing fallout for his highly visible efforts to reverse the election outcome. This month, the chairman of the New York State Senate’s judiciary committee formally requested that the state court system strip Mr. Giuliani of his law license.

Still the best news of the day! I sure hope they go for Newsmax and One America News too. “We are continuing to analyze our claims against OANN and Newsmax,” the company said. “We are taking a measured approach to pursuing our claims.”

Smartmatic files $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News over election-fraud claims

“One of the biggest challenges in the Information Age is disinformation,” Smartmatic chief executive Antonio Mugica said in announcing the suit. “Fox is responsible for this disinformation campaign, which has damaged democracy worldwide and irreparably harmed Smartmatic and other stakeholders who contribute to modern elections.”

Damn! If all defamation lawsuits sound like this, I'm gonna have to add more of them to my reading list. :)

Dominion files defamation lawsuit against MyPillow CEO over false claims voting machines were rigged against Trump

Dominion Voting Systems on Monday filed a defamation lawsuit against Mike Lindell, chief executive of MyPillow, arguing that Lindell has refused to stop repeating false claims that its voting machines were manipulated to rig the 2020 election against President Donald Trump.

Dominion is seeking more than $1.3 billion from Lindell, a staunch Trump supporter. The company says Lindell contributed to a “viral disinformation campaign” about Dominion on social media, in broadcast interviews, at public pro-Trump rallies and in a two-hour documentary about election fraud — entitled “Absolute Proof” — that he created and paid to air on One America News.

Trump Lawyer Says All Her Election Claims Were Lies

"Yes, lawyers need lawyers... If MAGA stands for anything, it's Making Attorneys Get Attorneys..."

lol!

It's as if these Right-wing, pundit charlatans are now trying to "innocently" compare themselves to Stephen Colbert's comedic character in his long running parody of news show, "The Colbert Report", to escape prosecution for their lies.

Doesn't hold water.

You see here is the thing

The vast majority of right wingers especially the "TEA partyer's who are what turned into Trumpian's never ever figured out that that guy was a parody that they were being made fun of

THey thought that that was another version of Seam Hannity or the TV version of Rush Limbaugh

Remember how it was those people in particular that were so shocked and pissed about how he "changed" when he took over "Late Night"
