Elizabeth Warren wooed donors at top Manhattan restaurant boasting $6,600 wines

Federal Election Commission records show Warren's political action committee, PAC for a Level Playing Field, and her Senate joint fundraising committee enjoyed at least four events at New York City's Gramercy Tavern, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan co-owned by celebrity chef Danny Meyer. Both of the Warren-affiliated organizations paid thousands of dollars to the restaurant for reception and catering expenses between December 2014 and October 2017.

A dinner at the restaurant's main dining room runs $134 for a three-course tasting menu — and that's before the wine. While customers can find wines such as the Chilean white La Ruptura at $48, Gramercy Tavern's 34-page wine list also offers bottles of Burgundies costing $6,600, such as Domaine Coche-Dury's 2013 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru.

It's nice to see she is rubbing elbows with the common people. She wants them to know she's in their corner.

I just had to respond this once.
You really are demented.

The article said she was there between 2014 and 2017.
As in THE PAST.

Why do you types love living in the past? Is that a reminder of the only time your mommies paid attention to you? Back when you were babies?

Since you like the past so much why not get around to answering why Trump called for the CP5 to be put to death.

You really are either Mr. Peabody or Sherman.

You need help. Lucky for you there is a place

Politicians on both sides of the aisle rub elbows with the rich, famous, and sometimes vile in order to raise funds. It's a regrettable reality, but hard to avoid in our current system.

Nevertheless, the article ends with Warren stating she has *not* held such events during her presidential campaign, to avoid precisely the kind of compromising entanglements that might result. I suppose if you can show *that* claim to be untrue, you might be on to something more noteworthy.

Elizabeth Warren has learned from her past mistakes whereas Pete Buttigieg hasn't, even mocking it with his stupid lowest donation contest.

Elizabeth Warren is done, stick a fork in her. For all the virtue signaling that Libs want single payer healthcare, the strongest bloc of the Democratic Party, the public sector unions, like things the way they are. Her fund raising has stalled and once a candidates momentum falters, it is over.
