Where the hell is the "Women's auxillary show their boobs thread?"

I mean, that kind of thread is seriously under-represented.

Maybe it just didn't make the cut.

I know you all are having a bit of fun. I have to point out that people often joke about things that are uncomfortable or deeply disturbing.

If we really want to end circumcision threads, the best place to start is by ending circumcisions. Circumcision is a nice sounding word for partial penis amputation. If you will give your attention to this page you will see where the purloined bits would be attached:

http://www.foreskin.org/3zones-c.htm

No child has ever willingly given these parts up, they are stolen. Stealing (with strong implication of more grievous wrong) is a crime. When does the criminal investigation begin?

Medicine was sufficiently advanced in the nineteenth century to know that the foreskin is highly innervated. Indeed, that is why they were cut off--to dull sexual sensation. A quick perusal of the history of circumcision will establish these facts.

Boys become men and men nearly always want all their sexually sensitive parts.

Since doctors are in a better position that grass roots groups to begin this criminal investigation, perhaps some discussion could focus on what doctors can do to lead rather than follow. Isn't that why we pay them thousands of dollars per day?

All other English speaking nations have brought their circumcision rate down to the single digits in the last generation (or earlier) because their doctors have largely refused to do them. Can we be far behind?

I know you posted sincerely, but if you want to discuss ending circumcision threads, you should be posting here:

http://www.lpsg.org/et-cetera-et-cetera/30889-ending-circumcision-threads.html.

I'm not sure where you should post if you want to discuss ending circumcisions, but I expect the search function will yield results. I understand there have been many threads of this nature.

I repeat:

Give him a break, Rob. Foreskin restoration take a lot of effort. Why don't YOU try pulling on your wang, cutting & pasting self-righteous dribble, AND reading instructions at the same time.

Oh puh-leeeeeze... When will the madness ever stop. These crusaders need to be "nipped" in the bud. I've never posted that being uncut was wrong, so why do they have to keep telling me that I'm less of a person because I was cut? Nothing was stolen from me. Nothing form being cut has made me have less feeling. My dickhead has not become like leather from rubbing against my underwear. I don't have skin bridges, scarring, or a deformed dickhead.
My penis is very normal (well, other than the size) and functions without any problems. Please stop telling those of us cut guys that we are deformed, mutilated or "less than" becuase we were cut as babies.

One can be called a crusader for any cause I suppose. It's a bit of a reversal to be crusading for the norm. I internalize the criticism and wear it proudly:

If nature wanted us to have foreskins, we would have been born with them.

What about the people who are born with no foreskin or very short ones that barely even go over the corona? Are they less of a man because they don't have a full foreskin?

Prepstud, I don't mean it as criticism, only a telling of the truth. You interpret it as criticism so you may feel that it applies to you. There was of course absolutely nothing you could have done about it as a newborn baby, but there is something you can do about it today, foremost being since it is not yet illegal, think about whether you want this to happen to any babies you may be related to.

I think it is very uncommon to be born with no foreskin, but in that case you would not have thousands of nerves permanently disconnected from your brain and thrown in the dustbin. Do you think this has no effect and if so, how so?

I like your signature quote by the way. I read Brave New World. Very applicable.

these topics are annoying and overdone. there is no "better choice." either you like it, or you don't. either you are, or yer not. end of story. i'm sick of the same arguments from both sides.
