Any endurance runners have blood in their urine? I’m talking enough to make your pee the same color as blood, but it was painless coming out....just a sensation that you had to pee urgently.

had it checked out and was told “jogger’s bladder” but it has happened several times. Urologist basically made sure it wasn’t cancer.

Curious to know if anyone else experienced this and what they did about it.

Glad you talked to the professionals, man! Never had that happen, though I have had real dark urine after marathons. Never looked red, more brown.

Thanks for sharing. What was interesting was the first time it was in the middle of a 4-mile run but I had done a 20 mile run a few days before without incident.

I looked up jogger's bladder because I hadn't heard of it before. I guess the long run was setting you up for some blood in you're urine and the 4 mile run pushed it just far enough. Hope it isn't something that happens regularly going forward.
