Edit: OK the UK and France have the same population, roughly, but not England - but Croatia draws from a smaller pool of nationals and they got through - it is a piss poor excuse whatever way you look at it.

The problem I have is if they win, for days,weeks,months,years, all you hear is England this England that.... wooopy shit for England.

I think we all support the underdog that is there by effort. It is a pity Scotland lack some top key players to push them over that brow
McFadden has been really impressive for them, he's a much better player than I thought

England's talent pool is just as good as it has been for the last 10 years or so, and that's the problem. Most other nationd are constantly improving, but we're too static.
There's such a slim margin between the top 10, 20 maybe 30 teams in the world compared to what there used to be; England are now merely one of the pack. :frown1:

Don't get me started, I'm 38 I work as a bricklayer on site and I can jump over the head of the young guys that are coming into the game....
..... I find them very disappointing. They look at you working hard and give you daggers cause you remind them of how lazy they are.
