I'm curious about these enlargement pills and their claims. Some of them remind me of would be doctors in the old west selling cure alls and the like out of the back of their covered wagons.

If you have taken enlargement pills and respond to the poll please make a message for us of how long you took the pills.

Chicago,

None, I repeat NONE of the penis enlargement pill companies has any clinical prove that their pills do anything beyond removing money from your wallet. In the US the FDA has shut down many of the larger companies that buy full page ads in the back of magazines. Remember the ads from a year or two ago with the Ferrari? That guy is in prision now.

The FDA doesn't have the resources to go after th 123,987,294,345 people trying to sell them on the internet, who email you each day!

Penis Enlargement Pills DO NOT WORK!

Lapdog,

I've always thought of them as a scam, but then I ran across them on Amazon.com of all places! I wonder why the FDA or some other governmental consumer protection agency make some kind of announcement indicating that this is all a scam?

I hope those people considering buying these pills will take a look at the poll and see that, as it stands now, nobody has grown from using them.

Were they in the Z-Stores section? If so, they are totally independent and give Amazon a percentage for handling the $ of the transaction. Z-stores merchandise is shipped from the seller, not Amazon.

Most local TV stations have a 'consumer reporter', scma buster, investigative reporter, etc. They regularly do stories on too-good-to-be-true pills and lotions for hair loss, weight loss, ED, and so on. I'd bet that well over 99% of all the non-perscription 'magic potion' type pills ever marketed did absolutely nothing!

I am not discounting some herbal remedies that may affect blood flow, and libido, but even these have little of no proof they work. "Erectile enhancement" may sound like a size increase phrase to some guys, when it really means that you may achieve erection easier, or be able to maintain it longer. The crafty marketers are very carefull not to explicitly say that their product 'increases the size of your erection'.
Some don't give a shit, and are out to collect as much $$$ as they can before getting shut down.

From the Yahoo! "Oddly Enough" news (I'm not posting the link because the articles disappear after a couple of weeks, and this post should end a ton of questions about the pills):

Surprised Customer Says Penis Pills Don't Work

Tue Feb 15, 8:24 AM ET Oddly Enough - Reuters

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A New Jersey man has filed a false advertising lawsuit against a maker of herbal penis enlargement pills, alleging the medicine does not fulfill its promises, the plaintiff's lawyer said on Monday.

Two similar cases, filed last year in Colorado and Ohio, accuse manufacturers of herbal dietary supplements, VigRx and Enzyte, of falsely claiming to be able to add substantial length and girth to a man's penis.

All three suits seek class action status and claim to represent more than 1 million total plaintiffs.

In the latest case, filed on Jan. 21 in New Jersey state court, plaintiff Michael Coluzzi claimed he paid $59.95 for a 30-day supply of Alzare pills but "experienced no increase in penis size," and then was unable to collect a promised refund from manufacturer Alzare LLC of Boca Raton, Florida.

Neither Alzare nor chief operating officer Scott Hammond, both named as defendants, could be reached for comment.

Coluzzi's attorney, Stephen DeNittis, said many men had been taken in by dubious claims that the product would add up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) to their penises by "very, very convincing" advertising, such as infomercials featuring doctors and porn stars.

"Males, for whatever reason, may be susceptible because of what they feel they lack," DeNittis said. "It was so believable I confirmed with an expert (that the claims were false) before I filed the lawsuit. They said they had done medical studies proving that it works."

The ads for Alzare tablets, comprised of ginseng, yohimbe bark, L-arginine and other ingredients, guaranteed results within a week and claimed a 95 percent success rate in the more than 100,000 men who have used it, the suit said.

But last year, the Center for Science in the Public Interest filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission saying the maker of Enzyte had not backed up its claims with science.

Although thousands of complaints have been registered with local government agencies and the Better Business Bureau, few lawsuits have been filed because the companies appear to be "judgment proof," DeNittis said.

"They don't have enough assets for plaintiffs to recover, and some of the defendants are fly-by-night -- they close up shop after they get sued," he said.

All three lawsuits claim that plaintiffs were unable to contact the companies for guaranteed refunds after spending hundreds of dollars for the penis enhancers.

My two cents are worth more than 1,000,000 penis enlargement pills.

That has actually started to happen. The FDA and FTC teamed up to form "Operation Cure-All," which is an information campaign about miracle cures sold on-line. You can see the website here:

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/edcams/cureall/index.html

As of yet, the don't list penis enlargement products, although breast enalrgement pills are mentioned. It seems they have been more concerned with scams offering fraudulent cures for AIDS, SARS and impotence.

However, the government has not been idle regarding penis enhancement scams. The following articles describe how they put the owners of C.P. Direct, sellers of the "Longitude" penis enlargement pill, in jail for fraud.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3077050/
http://www.quackwatch.org/02ConsumerProtec.../longitude.html

Note that most penis enlargement products are sold as dietary supplements, and make no medical claims, which actually places them outside the direct control of the FDA. For example, they usually include the boilerplate disclaimer "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, [product name] is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease." Since having a normal-sized penis is not a disease or medical condition, these products fall through the cracks of the regulatory system.

Thanks for the explanations re. the pills, ericbear, along with referral sites backing them up. You help to give LPSG readers info that we would never find for ourselves. Well, speaking for myself, anyway.

Mikef: I wanted to share my experiences from using the Extagen. I started taking the capsules four months ago and I had gained an additional one and a half inch to my size! Furthermore, my sexual stamina has increased greatly.

Mike,

If you can prove your size increase (doctor's invollvement, pictures, independent measuring) then congratulations! You are the 1st person to achieve those kind of results!

Think about it. If they really worked, they would be patented and marketed by Pfizer and all the other billion dollar drug companies by now.

Not being an MD myself, I can only speak from what I know. I used Enzyte a couple times. I experienced really rock hard erections and had quite a bit more stamina.

Now, what I believe the truth to be. I've had esteem and confidence issues ever since I got molested. I figure this had the placebo affect on me. Attributing such performance to a pill versus myself because those traits are what put me in the situation that caused the molestation.

Just my take on it.

The placebo effect can be quite strong and very real. I think that is what remotehypnosis is selling, using your mind to maximize whatever the placebo effect can do for you. If Enzyte is ever proven to be legitimate, then I'll be first in line to give it a try. Even their commercials imply a size increase, but their fine print just talks about blood flow, etc.

I have no doubt that there are herbs and that can increase blood flow, and maybe increase libido, and maybe help with stamina. So far, there aren't any legitimate medical studies published for any of these things.

Of course I can show pictures to convince you that it is true. And of course I'm not the first who had good results with Extagen. I heard a lot of positive responses about this product. But I can suppose that PE pills have different efficiency for different persons.

Mike,

I'm not doubting that they might have worked for you, it is just that they don't work for well over 99% of those who take them. The FDA can't shut down these companies fast enough, as none of them has ever had any clinical studies to back up their claims. Most of the positive effects can probably be attributed to the placebo effect.

I have no experience with any of these pills, and won't until there are clinical results published.

Hey lapdog,

You have allot of nerve speaking out for the supposed "99%" for whom penis enlargement pills do not work. Are you part of the crowd who is too afraid to try it and pretends that he knows everything or part of the 5% to 15% for whom the product doesn't work. The fact is that penis elargement pills do in fact work. They work by restoring the natural growth process that you had when you were going through puberty. The fact is that a product like Extagen or VigRX does in fact work for everybody, however only a small percentage of people reach their maximum size durring puberty. For the rest of us who smoked cigarettes, weed, etc, or drank alcohol, or did any of the other natural growth detering things in our puberty years has in fact not reached their maximum potential size, and these pills is what let you achieve that natural size. Now not all pills work some are stolen recipies, others are totally made up, so I would suggest you do your research before investing your money and time into them.

Jim31415: I checked out the Enzyte web page. The fact that they have television commercials in prime time and some deal with a Nascar driver made me wonder if there was something legit about the pills.

Then I saw the "fine print" on the web page that states the pills will not change penis size. :D Gotta love them for being honest.

Serj,

Do you have any direct or indirect relationship to a company selling enlargement pills?

Robert
[post=293418]Quoted post[/post]

I did a WHOIS lookup on the enhancement research domain in his sig and he is the owner of the site:

Registrant:
Sergey Sagan (ENHANCEMENTRESEARCH-COM-DOM)
United States

Domain Name: ENHANCEMENTRESEARCH.COM
Status: PROTECTED

Administrative Contact:
Sergey Sagan

Technical Contact, Zone Contact:
Sergey Sagan

I removed his address and email, as I do not wish to invade his privacy.
He was 'outed' when he first started posting in this forum a few months back.

Serj,

I will gladly apologize and buy your product once I can see the legitimate clinical research that was done to prove your pills work.
I have a feeling I'll be waiting a very long time. ;)
