I went to the doctor because pain in my right testicle was so painful. My doctor took urine and exam my testicle. No STDs and normal urine. It's so annoying. Feels like my ball is stuck and it is so uncomfortable to sleep or sit. I hope this doxycycline works. I haven't jerked in two days because of this pain. It's so bad that I almost didn't wear briefs today but I had to under my sweats. I gotta go back in two weeks.

Suck, try some ibuprofen (600mg 2-3x daily) for pain if you aren't allergic to it, and ice packs may be your best friend. You need to speak to your Dr if you don't see any changes in the pain or swelling after 3 days. You won't be healed, but you should be better. Doxy 2x daily is the drug of choice, there others that can be used if needed. Now go make yourself an icepack!

I can barely walk now because if my testicles move I'm in pain and doxy is making my stomach hurt. I'm annoyed at this point.

ER my friend, don't wait. Epididymitis hurts, orchitis hurts, but not like what you are describing. This could be significantly worse. Please, if you are reading this, emergency room!

I hope the worst is over. I am able to walk better now. The doxycycline I guess is working even though it makes my stomach hurt. My testicles doesn't feel stuck anymore and now it's just the top part of my testicle. Jerking off actually helped. Lol.

I don't think I have torsion because I was would be in more pain than I am in. My testicles look a little swollen but my pain is in my groin. I also have burning urine sometimes. I am finishing up this horrible antibiotic on Friday. I might go back to the doctor sooner. I want to get a scrotal ultrasound and go on cipro.

Had that before antibiotic helped.....hurts like hell....first the burning pee then it your balls get sore can barely walk and they get tight.....I had to wear a jockstrap to help.....but had no clue what cause it.....hadn't jacked off 2 weeks prior..definitely wasn't std...came from outta nowhere

Yeah I had it one time. Started out as a simple UTI then one morning my epiditimus was swollen and hard as a rock and my balls ached. Urologist told me to lay down and put a hot water bottle under my balls to keep them elevated. No fun.

This sounds a lot like testicular torsion. It's happened to me and it can be painful enough to make you pass out. When I have experienced it I got pains shooting up into my stomach and my testicles were so sensitive that they were in constant, agonizing pain.

If you're having a torsion then you need to see a doctor immediately to get it corrected or you risk losing the testicle. My doctor told me that if it goes for more than 12 hours then the decreased blood flow can cause atrophy and in some cases can essentially cause the testicle to die, I'm sure there's a better term for what I'm referring to.

I don't recommend it, but after it happened to me a few times I figured out a trick that seemed to fix it for me. It was still very painful and it probably would have been smarter to go to the doctor to get it corrected. I found if I laid down on my back while not wearing any pants or underwear I could lift the loose skin of my scrotum up to the point where it would also lift my testicles up. When I released it they tended to fall back into place not twisted anymore. It usually would help if I had my knees bent or lifted my legs off the ground. I have a very loose scrotum so I don't know if that made this fix more possible, but my urologist told me that it was probably part of the reason that I was susceptible to torsion in the first place.

There is a procedure that can be done to prevent torsion, but it sounds very unpleasant and I opted not to get that despite my urologists recommendation. Essentially, the suture the testicles together so that they are unable to be twisted. The idea of having what felt like a single testicle that was the size of two testicles was pretty off putting to me, not to mention the recovery from the surgery.

I found that it happened to me more often if I was wearing tight-ish pants, and especially if I was doing some sort of work that required me to bend over at the waist a lot. It sounds counter intuitive, but I recommend avoiding wearing anything that hugs your nuts too much.

Go see a different doctor. If your doctor doesn't recognize the symptoms of a torsion then you need to see someone else who can diagnose it. Don't downplay the pain you're experiencing, its supposedly one of the most painful things you can experience aside from breaking your femur or getting impaled.

I should mention that there are different degrees of torsion. A full torsion is when the testicle rotates 180 degrees or more, and is intensely painful due to the blood being cut off. You can also get a torsion in which the rotation isn't a full 180 degrees. I've had these and they are still painful, but nearly as painful as a full torsion as blood flow is reduced but not cut off completely.

In both cases there is a lot of sensitivity even after the testicle has returned to its normal position.
