Until recently, I have had no problem masturbating to orgasm. I am in my 70s, and occasionally take a viagra or a herbal stimulant. Now, I can get hard, but can’t get that tingle which leads to orgasm. Any suggestions or advice, please?

I have tried to find information on this condition as I can’t cum with my wife on numerous occasions and sometimes even when masturbating. Started when I began using viagra/Cialis mostly. Sometimes better when I have sex the day after I take the Cialis. I don’t get as hard and numb by the next day

So, that's not you in your avatar, I assume...:)

Anyway, are you taking any new meds? Many can cause inability to orgasm - especially antidepressants.

I use Trimix for erections and I sometimes have a difficult time Cumming. Check out the franktalk site. There is a lot of information about all things ED.

No, not me in the avatar. I have been on mild anti-depressants for a while, but have always managed to orgasm. Maybe it’s just old age.

When that problem occurs with me the issue is very simple. I'm dehydrated.
Are you drinking enough fluids everyday.
Are you eating or drinking things that may be making your body thirsty.
Is your mouth dry.
Sometimes medications do this, like Benedryl.
You need the water for the seminal fluid to push your cum out.

Hi I am friendly with the moderator of Frank talk and he hasn’t been able to offer any good advice on my lack of orgasm.

Update. I am delighted to say that normal service is resumed! I've started taking a daily 5mg Tadalafil tablet (generic Cialis, I believe) Also cut out anti antidepressant (Citalopram) which I had been taking for years. Almost instant success - sensation returned wiih satisfying orgasms. This might help other people in the same situation.

It started with me a couple years ago. I am unable to cum from penetrative sex. I can cum if i use anal toys and receive oral sex but otherwise no. Thanks God my wife is sympathetic and helps me out.
I'm on Trimix after using Cialis for years so I don't know if that contributes to it or not. Could be age related.

I was told to reduce my fluid intake for another reason. And, now that this subject has come up here, I notice that I have had far fewer ejaculations that when I drank more freely. I think I'm going to split the difference and see if I can improve. I dearly love my masturbation and this may help. Good thread.

Glad to see that helped. Just a warning to everyone else, please consult your doctor before stopping antidepressants or any other medication.
