I was recently out with a group of guys having beers... no, Brett wasn’t there! One of the guys started talking about taking the little blue pill and how he liked it. This guy is late 40s. I became curious and then thought, ugh, will this happen to me? I read a few things online but they are clinical. I wondered what some of the personal stories are.

How did you experience erectile dysfunction?

- About what age?
- Was it gradual? Or did it happen fairly quickly?
- Do you always have a problem getting hard or just sometimes?
- Once you’re hard do have have trouble maintaining an erection?
- Do you cum before you’re completely hard?
- Did you experience a change in the sensation of orgasm?
- Do any of the prescriptions help?
- What else did you experience?

Started in the early 40's for me. It was gradual and caused by a combination of low testosterone and diabetes. I was on a testosterone replacement therapy for about 6 years. During that time I lost some weight, and got my blood sugar under control. I started to have side effects from the testosterone therapy and I eventually stopped it. My levels returned to normal so I didn't need it anyway. I used ED prescriptions sometimes but for some of them, the side effects weren't worth it. Now ED is an occasional thing, and more than likely tied to normal aging. Erections aren't as hard as they were 30 years ago, and ejaculations are less in volume, but for the most part, everything works the way it should.

I am 73 years old and masturbate regularly since my 9th year. H. Every day. That's 64 years. During this time I masturbated about 27 595 times. Even now I masturbate on average 1.2 times a week. I can not say that it is still fun to wear. Since I am 55 years old, I notice that the sensitivity of the glans (glans) decreases. Each organ responds to stress.
Examples:
Hands are chafing through heavy work.
Soles on the feet become thicker and less sensitive due to Bahrfußlaufen.
The glans (glans) becomes less sensitive by pruning, because the skin gets thicker.

When masturbating at a mean masturbation frequency of about 12 Hz and a medium masturbation time of 2 min, 27 595 times, the foreskin is opened and closed about 39646080 times. I think the Glans reacts too.

I can still remember how sensitive the Glans was at the beginning of masturbation at about 9 years old. The thrill was almost unbearable so I had to interrupt the masturbation.

This has normalized over time so that I could always masturbate with pleasure.

Sensitivity decreased noticeably at the age of about 50 years.

But even now with 72 years I still manage to masturbate with pleasure.

I start with the 3 finger method, i. Middle and index finger on the bottom of the penis and thumb up. If then the excitement potential increases, I take as before the whole hand.

As a lubricant, butter has been found to be best over time.

I suspect that this reduces the frequency of masturbation per week from a maximum of 19.6 times / week to 1.2 times / week. From about 45 years, the masturbation frequency begins to decline. Therefore, I have the exact numbers because I have led out of interest a sex diary. So I'm of the opinion that masturbation is an important and beautiful sexual activity.

However, I now have the problem, the GV is apparently the Reitz not enough and the penis often coincides. In addition, I can only get an ejaculation by subsequent masturbation. Does anyone have similar problems?

The electric masturbation I perform about 1 to 2 times a month.

To be able to masturbate optimally I recommend to remove the Frenulum Praeputii.

The advantages are:

1. The foreskin can be pulled further backwards, thus a larger stroke during masturbation is possible and the foreskin is more mobile.

2. The penis looks better, because the foreskin can be pulled back almost without creases.

3. The penis can be kept much better clean.

I completely removed the frenulum with three interventions, using the following method.

Condition is clean and sterile work, i. Thoroughly wash hands and penis and sterilize the surgical site.

First, I dipped the penis for about 5 minutes in ice water, then you do not notice the cut. After sterilizing the frenulum, I used a sharp pair of scissors to cut the frenulum in the middle to Glan's (glans) underside.

It does not bleed something panic. Next, I inserted a sterile gauze roll in the wound and closed the foreskin (wound otherwise stuck). Then I closed the foreskin with a strip of sticking plaster and put on a condom if there was any blood left (which was not the case).

The next morning I carefully opened the foreskin, (the bleeding had already stopped) urinated and after disinfecting the wound again a new Mullröllchen inserted and the foreskin closed again. But so that I can easily open the adhesive plaster to urinate. After a week, the wound had healed so well that I was able to gently masturbate again. By the way the pain is limited is easily bearable.

After a few months, after the wound had healed well, I first removed the remainder of the frenulum on the underside of the glans, and after that had healed well, it was also removed on the foreskin inside using the same method. Finally, I cut out a triangle, so to speak. I am very satisfied with the result.

I started high blood pressure meds at about age 64 and experienced ED. Urologist prescribed ten mg of cialis which let me have good erect ions. Fast forward to age 73 and a prostate cancer diagnosis. Had a robotic prostatectomy and never regained natural erections. Used vacuum erection devices, pills, injections all with a combination of hassle and inconsistent results. Finally decided on an inflatable penile prosthesis and that solved the problem. The prosthesis consists of a reservoir in the abdomen, tow inflatable cylinders in the penis and a pump in the scrotum. I would recommend it highly for men who can't conquer ED any other way. If anyone would like more info, PM me.

so is it the fact that you just won't get hard no matter what? your mind is sexually turned on and your ready to fuck but the dick just won't fill up with blood? is that how it is? can you still feel pleasure even though the dick is flaccid? seriously asking.

about age 56, I got erections but staying hard became a problem sometimes. my wife was post menopausal and losing interest in sex. she wasn't really enjoying it and was just "doing her duty". a far cry from the horny woman I knew. not blaming this on her mind you. so our sex life was declining rapidly. a year later, I'm put on blood pressure meds, and a semi erection is my best because I have a big cock. 7.5 x 6.5 Dr gave me some Viagra samples and I used some discount offers to buy more but it's too expensive.. the side effects were terrible for myself. practically disabled me for the next day. I also started taking a statin about this time, and changed BP meds. I also quit smoking. I didn't smoke a lot but quitting made a diff. after awhile, started waking up with morning wood. Doc also gave some Cialis samples and I like it. I don't take it everyday. I take 10 mg every other day, 3 x's a week. I skip a week quite often (it's also too expensive) but I can and do get hard with out it. our sex life is still on the slow side. wife has medical problems worse than mine, but she is more attentive to my "needs". I do jelq and use a pump a few times a week. besides feeling good physically, also mentally(male ego). I am in good shape, look younger than my 66 yrs.

Started for me in my 30's with severe high blood pressure and the result of medications.
I am now 66 and cannot have a erection at all.I had a penile implant placed in 2008
by 2017 the implant became infected and had to be removed. The Dr. that put in the implant put the wrong size
to large for my anatomy and caused scarring and crossing over, erosion thus infection.
LUCKY ME !!

How much do Viagra and Cialis cost?

My erections and dick started to shrink in my mid-20s and I gained a lot of weight. I sought out doctors opinions but none would take me seriously. By 39 I couldn't keep it up. I had lost nearly 5 inches in length and about .25 in diameter between the weight gain and health problems. When I was 40, my doctor figured out I had a benign pituitary tumor which killed my testosterone. An old high school injury made sure I had none to be released into my system. After two years on Androgel, I can get hard again but I'm still have a small nearly useless penis. I'm still fighting to lose weight though. All of my efforts thus far have been for naught.

So sorry to hear about your medical problems and your loss of size. That had to be devastating for you. Wishing you the best on finding a solution to your problems

I had a loss of testosterone at age 38 for an unknown reason, gels and pills didn't work for me so I had to go on injections.
Then 3 years later I had a very serious accident and suffered nerve damage that killed all erections. I went from hard in seconds and hanging a towel on it to not being able to get hard at all, very frustrating. I now have injections in my penis that get me hard.

I have commented before but will again for the benefit of others. At about forty, I started having erection problems for reasons that were unclear. I eventually went on testosterone injections at age forty-five and that helped for a while. However, by the time I was sixty not much of anything worked. Pills gave me intolerable side effects and I was not a candidate for injections into my penis as I have a condition named Dupuytren Contractures, which is an abnormal scarring process that would have led to me developing Peyronie's Disease if I had used injections on a regular basis. So I was approved for a three piece implant (rods, pump, and reservoir in the abdomen) in the summer of 2013. It has worked with absolute reliability and had the typical and beneficial effect of doubling the length of my penis when uninflated. Pumping it up makes it somewhat bigger but mainly rock hard.
People often think of surgery being a drastic step but, really, it was mot bad. It took place in a hospital and they kept me overnight for IV antibiotics and pain management. I was released the next day and drove myself home two hundred and fifty miles. It was uncomfortable but doable. My doctor had me come back in one week and had me start inflating it in order to maintain as much size as possible. I returned two weeks later and was released from care. I would describe the whole thing as far less traumatic than having my wisdom teeth removed.
While it works great, my life has taken a turn for the worse. I kind of think my husband preferred me impotent and divorced me last year. Maybe he was also insecure as he is overweight and not long when flaccid while I am swinging six inches on a 5'8" 135 lb. body. So here I am, a sixty-nine year old gay, sort of bi, single man. It's a tough market and I am picky. I'll be retiring in a few months and will be more mobile so we will see what transpires but I am not holding my breath. That aspect of my life is most likely over.

Thanks for sharing your story. Sorry sorry to hear that you lost your husband. Hope you find love again. I'm sure there are many men, your age, looking for a good hard man.
I'm sixty nine myself. Married to the same woman for 50 years this month.

Thanks. I may have to go on injections as the last time I went for my check up my T levels were low. Some people build up a resistance to the gels and creams.
