I've been pumping for over a year. Mind you that I try to be very careful and not over do it. I have been experiencing ED problems ever since I started. I only get maybe 75% erect now and most times I lose my erection before I'm finished. Very frustrating because I enjoy pumping.
I would tend to agree with the above statement. With vacuum over time problems with erectile capability can happen. I remain one who endorses pumping, but, with the caveats of treating it like a medical procedure instead of a sexual one. I myself was at one time an avid pumper. I have severe ED and medically mine was caused by the formation of scar tissue over many years from an equestrian accident at age 17.
While there are many things that help. the only things that I know of that can work really well are the specially designed hardwear cock rings, and a few OTC supplements that help in very mild cases of ED.
The problem is generally vascular leakage and the causes may vary. Temporarily back off the pumping for about 90 days and see if there is any change. I am not meaning "cure" I am meaning change. Does the condition change in any way for better or for worse after the hiatus. If it does then the pumping may be a contributor.
One thing that I discovered early on before the scar tissue became an issue was that the design of the pump cylinder can mean everything. The "thick wall" cylinders made by Vacu-Tech are the best I have seen and may be of help when you want to end your hiatus.
