So if he was holding your shaft that felt great and then pulled back your foreskin for you, how did you NOT get hard or at least semi? As soon as I get hands on my penis it begins to react on its own!

Haha. I probably have a little more self control than you! Actually, I think for me it's that I usually feel quite stressed with doctors so I'm not relaxed enough to get hard. And, as I say, my foreskin is quite tight so I'm used to not having erections unless it's in place.

But there was definitely something different about this examination. As a follow up, for this consultation, it wasn't necessary for him to feel my balls or around my dick - he just needed to check the head - so it felt a little like I was being touched for the sake of it, which is certainly not a bad thing!

Like I said earlier, this was one of those rare occasions where it felt like there was a bit of chemistry between the patient and doctor so if I had've gotten hard I doubt it would have been an issue for either party. In fact, I almost regret that I didn't now!

Has anyone got an erection during a physical exam with your doctor? I would like to hear about true life erotic experiences, particularly with a male physician, during a physical exam. thanks.
I Joeburger, I can tell you that is is very common for men to get erections during physicals. I live in Tacoma ,WA very near to Ft. Lewis /McCord air force base. I've had conversations with physicians that do physicals on the soldiers and they tell me the majority of males get totally to partial erections during the physical. as my self, I find physicals erotic so I all most all the time get full erections during physicals. I also tend to be a dripper so after awhile, I do have precum forming and/or dripping from the slit. seagrey, Tacoma

Yes, but on purpose :)

I started seeing a female doctor a couple of years ago. She's quite young, just opened her practice; she's pretty but I wouldn't stay stunning. She is very friendly and somewhat chatty.

Last year, during my routine exam, she seemed to be flirting with me a bit. She commented on how soft my shirt was, even rubbing my back a bit as she commented (it really is soft lol) while checking my lungs. The physical was routine though. I had the gown over my briefs. She asked how everything was "working"...I said it was just fine.

Last week, I had another physical scheduled with her. This time I was naked under my gown. I got aroused just from the excitement of this appointment. When she had me lay down to feel my stomach, I pitched a tent in my gown. She actually said "well, I don't have to ask how everything is working fine down there". I apologized, acting like I wasn't proud of my erection.

I followed up the appointment with an email to her. I asked her about Viagra - I don't really need it, but some guys my age (51) do. I was basically trying to see how she would react. She responded with "it doesn't seem like you need any help :)" but that we could talk about a prescription if I thought I needed it.

So far, that's it...but I'd absolutely go down on her if given the chance.

From personal experience in the health care field, I can tell you that is absolute nonsense. Wishful thinking perhaps, but no, it doesn't happen. (Well, almost never happens). In those very rare instances when it does, I try to reassure the very, very embarrassed guy that I take it as a complement. (What they don't know won't hurt them). It definitely defuses an embarrassing situation.

Used to be afraid I would but it never happened. In fact, I tend to shrivel up. Last time I had an exam I felt like letting the Dr. know that it does get much bigger!

Can definitely relate; now I have the same experience: it tends to shrivel when examined. Twice when I was a teenager, went to full erection when the doctor retracted my foreskin.

Nope never, I hate going to the doctor enough, that I have an aversion to anything erotic about a visit.
I cannot imagine getting wood, as someone is touching your nether region and instructing you to turn your head and cough :D

Exactly, I've been checked out close to a 100 times over the years and have never boned up!

Used to have a urologist who had you strip from the waist down and sit in the exam room to wait for him. The anxiety of trying not to get hard makes you start to bone up so by the time he came in and started examining there would be strings of pre-cum on his gloves. One time he left and had his male nurse come in to take blood and I had a really good semi going. Just stood there while he poked me. Lol

I guess im lucky to have a female doctor. Shes not stunning but attractive...40ish..5-4..140 # anyway i had to get a complete physical. I like to every couple of years just to make sure. So im told to strip and put on one of those ridiculous gowns. She comes in and of course shes dressed nicely. I have a weakness for legs and heels...she has both..lol. so she asks if i would feel more comfortable with her assistant present. I tell her theres no need as i trust her. Her assistant is a female too. Im boning up this whole time and im sure turning red. She has me stand and pull the gown up. Yep...theres my 7 inches standing at attention. She plays it cool and only says...well im sure youve kept some ladis happy. We both kind of laughed. That was the first and only time an erection happened during an exam...

I have to say that in 50+ years I haven't gotten hard during an exam... except one time.
I was at the urologist discussing vasectomy (which ultimately was a horrible outcome for me) and during the exam part to manipulate and locate the vas i "started" the get hard. It wasn't the hernia check or the prostate check... but the rolling around of the tubes that he was going to cut... I dunno. Maybe my body was trying to get hard/impregnate something subconsciously.

It was somewhat embarrassing as I do remember it now even 10+years later. Not hot. Just unwanted diversion of blood flow.

Having had testicular cancer several years ago, I have an annual check up. Until this year it has been undertaken by a lady consultant and accompanied by my wife and the consultant spent a total of less than 30 seconds lifting my dick up with a spatula and viewing my ball sac and lightly touching it which resulted in no threat of springing anything. This time I went unaccompanied and I had a male consultant late 20's and a totally different type of check-up. He encircled my dick and held it up with his right hand and with his left he held and felt around my ball sac for probably 3 minutes. He was better than my missus at caressing my dick and balls and he caused a full erection. He never moved his right hand but it felt he was tightening his grip. He then looked up and said you definitely have no problems there and let my dick go. He then said I will leave you time to get dressed handed me a roll of paper towels and left the room.

Love it when the Dr insinuates that you can go ahead and jo before leaving!!
Does that really happen often?
Once I was hard and my Dr came right out and said to finish myself off so I don't leave on that condition. I was pretty horny so he walked out and I started jo myself. Well as I'm stroking he walked back in and places a tissue box on the exam bed!!! I hesitated then just kept on going!

I don't know if "erotic" is the right word, since I was mortified, but I used to get an uncontrollable erection every time until I was about 25. I was always turned on by having any guy see me naked. In the case of the doctor, not only was he seeing my naked, but actually inspecting my parts. I had one doctor who would perform a significant portion of the exam fully nude (rather than just a brief drop-trou), and I would be rock hard the whole time. He would always say something like "Don't worry about your erection; it happens to lots of guys," which just made it worse. I tried jerking off in the waiting room bathroom before the exam a few times, but it didn't help. Luckily, I eventually grew out of it.
