Yes indeed! But
YMMV.
I accidentally learned that
Calea zacatechichi tea gives me a big, raging boner. And astonishing arousal, too. It's widely known as
Bitter Grass or
Mexican Dream Herb. I first tried it because it's supposed to enhance dreaming...and it really does. But it's also unpleasantly bitter. Compellingly bitter.
Disgustingly bitter. Bitter, bitter, bitter.
There are a lot of other "dream herbs" around, so it's sometimes mixed up those: Silene capensis, Xhosa, Blue Lotus, African Dream Root, African Dream Bean, Entada rheedii, etc. Most of these are probably effective dream-enhancers, but they sure don't get me aroused like
Calea does.
Unfortunately authentic
Calea tea is really disgusting, and it has to be brewed quite strong. Calea extract capsules also work, but they're costly and sometimes substitute
Entada rheedi extract. (Luckily you can check by smelling it, since
Calea extract has the same bitter fragrance as the leaves.)
I've attached a picture of two varieties of
Calea that work for me
, shredded vs. leaf, to help distinguish it from other "dreaming herbs" on the market. In general, if something smells nice and tastes pleasant, then it's not
Calea zacatechichi and probably won't have any desirable aphrodisiac effects.
