Hi,

So I have noticed my erections can be strong but do not last particularly long. I am having an ultrasound done, for other reasons, which may find a cause. Maybe veinous leak?

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be? Do cock rings help? (I'd like to get one as it may add pleasure). Any recommendations?

I had this same problem when I began to take medication to control high blood pressure. My doc prescribed Viagra, and it worked great. My erections can last as long as I need, and they are very strong. I take 25 mg, by the way.

Let your doc get this sorted out before you decide upon treatment.

I definitely agree with @ItsAll4Kim , but also be your own advocate. The doc I was referred to prescribed something for me, and didn't take any of my comments into account. Before you are put on any treatment or med, make sure the doc KNOWS what the cause is. For example, circulatory issues and testosterone issues have very different treatments.

One other thing that I forgot to mention is body fat. Estrogen is in body fat. The more fat you have, the more difficulty you will have in maintaining an erection, all other things being equal.
I don't know how doctors are in England, but in the States a lot of doctors prescribe drugs as a cure for anything and everything. In many cases they get what boils down to a commission for each prescription. Sometimes drugs are necessary, but a lot of times one can address problems such as ED without adding yet another chemical into your body.

Hey...I know all about the venous leak. I have (had) one myself.... I think you should wait until your ultra- sound is performed. Then you and your Uro can come up with a game plan. Hopefully by now, blood levels have already been checked out. You should have already discussed all other health issues by this point as well. If it turn out to be a venous leak, they cannot be repaired. Medications will help you get more blood flowing to the penis, but they will not help you maintain an erection as long as you might want. Once a venous leak has been determined, you final option is a Penile Implant. Man did it change my life..it's awesome now.

I had an sexual incident many years ago. And so know with ED. Mostly I cannot get him hard. Sometimes he get hard by himself.
I use an erectionpump when nassery and always a cockring when I go in.
When mine wife pipes mine dick we do it without a ring. I can cumm with a soft one.
